When we signed up to rent this flat we were unsure from the photos what it would be like. It is very bright and spacious. Two sofas fold down into large comfortable beds and linens are provided (fitted sheet, duvet and cover, pillows and pillowcases) to make the beds up. There are convenient outlets for charging devices and reading lamps. Windows open for fresh air. This is a fully furnished flat with all appliances, everything works and was very clean but be prepared to have your own personal care items - hand soaps, tissues, etc are not provided - only items for cleaning and dishwashing. Some towels are provided also. The location in the Margareten district is beyond fantastic, literally within sight of the entrance to the Pilgrimgasse U-Bahn station, easy walking to the Naschmarkt and several wonderful places to eat all meals (we ate our way through the neighborhood, literally) and just a little further on is the Hofburg. Heinz, the host, is friendly, answered any question we had and lives nearby. We found the neighborhood to be mostly quiet, though a few noisy people came home late one night, whatever, that happens everywhere. Be advised that the apartment is on the third floor up beautiful winding spiral stairs; the building was constructed in 1900. There is no elevator! A certain level of physical fitness is needed to manage going in and out repeatedly during the day. We felt safe walking in the neighborhood both day and night. Highly recommend!
