A hidden gem! Price was very reasonable for the well appointed facilities. Could not believe how fresh and clean every aspect was from the public restroom to the hotel room. Even the carts used to clean the rooms were well organized and heavily stocked. We can't wait to return for another wonderful stay! This will definitely be our go to hotel in Williamsburg.

The WiFi and cell coverage in the rooms were terrible! Several issues with the room which was resolved with getting another room. Breakfast was quite scarce. Great location but I would have expected more from being so near Colonial Williamsburg.

Good stay in a historic area.
This was an old hotel and close to colonial Williamsburg. All staff was super friendly however slow to respond to needs. The air conditioning did not respond well and cool the room especially for the living space in the suites with food out sofa beds.

Though the carpet definitely needed some patching. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the shuttle to Historic Williamsburg and minutes from William and Mary.

My family and I enjoyed our stay that included a warm welcome at check-in and comfortable accommodations that allowed for our dog to travel with us. The Williamsburg Woodlands are located in close proximity to Colonial Williamsburg and other nearby attractions.

Check-in was great, the staff was super friendly! They were very informative of the property and layout. Our room is nice and clean. The one negative so far for our room is the mini refrigerator doesn’t work and we had hoped to chill some beverages. The ice maker near our room doesn’t work. Neither does the one on the first floor. We had to go halfway around the building to find ice. We do like that the property is close to Colonial Williamsburg. There are shuttles and also a nice walking path that leads to the historical area.

Our stay at Woodlands was fantastic and we’ll definitely stay here again. The staff was exceptional, they went above and beyond. The hotel is conveniently located next to the visitors center (and the shuttle to Colonial Williamsburg), it has ample parking, and the rooms were lovely.

better than high end chains
Excellent choice for Colonial Williamsburg or Busch Gardens. The rooms are very large and immaculate! I travel for work weekly and it's better than the high end chains I usually stay at. The breakfast is very good and plenty of choices. Excellent gluten free section as well. It's much more than the normal breakfast included you usually get. All the staff, housekeeping, foodservice, front desk and maintenance were so nice and pleasent to everyone, they make the hotel!

Quiet hotel tucked away in the woods. My mother and I really enjoyed our stay. Cozy hotel, plenty of parking, delicious breakfast, and a welcoming lobby with a fireplace. Located right next to the visitors center made for convenient walking into town. Despite not having hot water the morning of checkout, overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be back!
