The room was not very clean. The bathroom could have been much cleaner. We were supposed to stay two nights. However, we left a day earlier than planned because we were not happy with the room and were told that we could not get a refund for the second night.

We stayed at the Sunrise for 2 nights due to its Ark Encounter proximity. We tend to avoid motels, opting instead for guestrooms with interior hall doors, which seem safer. However, this venue was clean and seems very safe. Breakfast was high carb, no eggs or meat, but seemed fresh and made others happy. The employees are very nice, sweet about giving us extra coffee packets etc. I would recommend to others.

The hotel is older and dated. The beds were comfortable. The main problem were seeing bugs and spiders. One of our neighbors was bitten by something while sleeping and had swelling and a terrible rash. I don't recommend.

The staff was very accommodating. It was close to where we were going. There's a lot to see around there. The rooms were clean. I didn't see no bugs and breakfast was okay if it was waffles and stuff like that. There wasn't no eggs or nothing. That's about it. I enjoyed it. That's all

A warm, friendly welcome by staff upon arrival. An older one level motel style facility that has been remodeled with LVT flooring throughout and updated rooms. Very clean accommodations but thin walls. Has a small communal breakfast area with typical continental choices, including a waffle machine. Across from The Ark Encounter for easy access. We walked and saved on the parking fee! Would stay again—

I want so badly to have liked this but it was just not good. Room felt dingy, outdated, limited outlets.... the light on the outside of our room was so bright it was like daylight making it hard to sleep. The mattress was rock hard and the bath faucet seemed broken. Just not great overall.

It was an overall nice place to stay. Only minor issues were that the door was a bit flimsy and seemed to be trying to fall apart (not very secure), but we still felt safe staying there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, so for my next trip to the area, I will most likely try to stay there. I wasn't very impressed with the breakfast since , I,m more of a Egg, Bacon and Gravy kind of man, but that isn't why we stayed there, we can always eat somewhere else.

A Positive Experience
The room was spacious for my wife and me. Checking in was quick and they were ready for us. The bed was comfortable and the walls kept noise from the other rooms to a minimum. The breakfast was meager, but adequate. We would stay there again.

Very clean room and reminds me of a motor inn you can park your car outside your room like on Route 66! Great staff and breakfast is good with waffles etc. Nice TV. If you are visiting the Ark I recommend it as price is so reasonable and plenty of food places! Much less than big brands!

Around 10 minutes walk to Ark Encounter entrance. The sink was not draining well, someone came and put liquid plumber, did not fix the problem but it works just a little bit. Breakfast was decent.

great location for the ark !! got there at 1;30 and was told we would have to wait till 3pm to check in.only one car in parking lot!!!!!!left clothes behind on sept 11 and called them the next day, said they would call me back after checking with housekeeper NEVER replyed back... bad business

We stayed here because it was right across from the Ark Encounter. It was affordable, clean, staff was friendly, good breakfast. Good Mexican restaurant across from it too. Good overall experience!
