Pennsy Ridge Hideaway: Relax in our centrally-located wooded retreat

Come hideaway in our country retreat in the middle of 14 acres of wooded peacefulness. Enjoy wildlife from a window or from one of two decks while you are still located close to tourist attractions like Strasburg Railroad and minutes from the oldest, continuing farmers' market, Central Market and numerous hiking trails at state parks or conservancies.
Our family has lived here for twenty years and we would love to share it with visitors. Whether you're a history buff, a adventurer, a shopper, or you're just looking for a little time to rest and restore yourself, our slice of nature is the perfect place to relax.

very well hidden but..
The property was incredibly spacious. My wife and I only used one bedroom, but it could easily accommodate two or more couples. The hot tub area was lovely, and we enjoyed watching deer roam outside one of the large windows, which offered stunning views of the hillside and endless trees. However, finding the place was a bit challenging. It could benefit from a visible marker for nighttime arrivals, especially for first-time visitors. Additionally, there were only two small ice trays, and no ice was made in advance. Despite these minor inconveniences, the price was excellent, and the unique location and view were unmatched in the area.

Our 9th anniversary getaway was relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub and firepit and walking the local trails. Extremely clean and most necessities provided along with a few local goodies. We will return in the future.

Great place to stay
The place was perfect for the 3 of us. Many extras that were left for our use which were totally unexpected such as the whoopie pies and the coffee bar set up which left nothing that any of us needed or wanted. The hot tub being ready for our daily use was terrificexceptional seeing it was October.

A gem of a property close to everything in Lancaster
Property was simply beautiful. Accommodations split across two floors which allow us to have separate spaces. Technology is great as well allowing for Airplay to watch movies at night. I will definitely book again when in the area

A little slice of Heaven
Beautiful home! Everything was thought of so thoroughly as to the needs of guests, right down to Whoopie pie Pies and every kind of coffee/tea under the sun. Quiet setting, spacious and inviting. Every room had a special touch added to it. Please check it out, you won’t be disappointed! Very close to the Amish shops.

Nice short getaway
The property was nice and secluded. Didn't care much for the bubbles in the hot tub, but got past that just relaxing and letting the jets do there thing on our injured bodies. I thought the boot print on the ceiling in the bathroom was quit interesting. Loved the beautiful boutique on the dining room table. Id recomend to friends.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and coffee bar fully supplied. Very yummy treats with raspberry tea. Flowers were very welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again and recommend for others as well.

2 families came together to enjoy the local surroundings and we found ourselves taking so many small adventures from buggy rides with the Amish to a rained out Dutch wonderland day that turned into a Hershey park day. Everything so so easy to get to. The house was perfect. Both families slept great and the kitchen was perfect for all our meals. Perfection.

The house was beautiful and very clean….the special attention to details makes you feel like you are home…we cooked breakfast and dinner there every day and with the weather being comfortable out we ate our meals out in the back deck….the home is located to several things to see and do and after a long day out site seeing we would relax in the wonderful hot tub…I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking to stay in a beautiful and very clean home away from home. Cool trip
The days we stayed were in the mid 90's. It was great to walk into a house that had been cooled prior to our arrival. We found everything to be very clean, inviting and comfortable. Having the private deck off the lower bedroom was also nice for privacy and relaxing in the later hours of the day. Considering the heat we didn't get to enjoy the property. If your looking for a private location tucked away from the world this is a great choice.

The property was beautiful and tucked just enough away to be quiet, quaint and relaxing. The house was clean and the owners provided all basic necessities and more. It's just an hour away from home, but worth it to get away for a few days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Great place!
This was a gem of a place to stay while my friend and I worked the 2024 US Women’s Open golf tournament! All the amenities you could want! I especially enjoyed the Java! The host is very gracious and answered my questions in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this place! And we did get to see two deer roaming the yard last night!
