Don’t bother staying here if you want to sleep wel
Construction going on that we were not warned about and had to walk through on the way to our room. Bed and pillows were terrible. It was clean in the room but very oddly laid out. Sink outside where the toilet is inches from the bed. So you had to disturb others while they were sleeping. Water pressure and temp in the shower was awful. Had to water five minutes of water to get a Luke warm low pressure shower. The free breakfast was the worst we ever had. I had to cancel another reservation for this location for never month and find something else. The price was not worth what we paid. Very loud from construction in the day with banging and their loud music then at night guests banging and yelling in the halls. The second morning out key stopped working. Took a few minutes for someone to come to the desk. Never one welcome greeting at any point. The staff looked like they didn’t want to be there. The only nice person was the lady setting up the breakfast room. Not her fault the gross food she had to set up. Should definitely be reconsidered as nothing was appetizing at all. Unless you wanted fruit. Just very disappointed to find a hotel close to our daughters school that isn’t good and we have four years of visiting Newark.

The place was nice and comfortable. The outside surroundings felt safe and calm. It was right across from the university, but being summer time, school was out so we did not encounter many college students.

License plate was stolen off my vehicle in parking lot in middle of the night. Lady overnight at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was EXTREMELY LOUD outside our door before 9am - it was absurd how loud the woman was. She was talking on the phone SO loudly as though she was screaming to someone.
