Ruby Cabin is one of two upscale cabins located at the Luxury Cabins @ Stony Ridge. Come and enjoy all the fabulous high-end amenities that will consent to the most relaxing getaway you’ve had yet!
With some of the most breathtaking hill country views available, you will greatly appreciate the large covered outdoor decks with outdoor speaker system so you can kick back and enjoy the scenery comfortably. Soak in the spacious private hot tub while gazing up at the beautiful Texas sky.

As you enter the cabin through the hard wood front door, your jaw will drop at the sight of the luxurious over the top interior design and décor. The shiny hard wood floors, exposed wood beams, vaulted ceilings, enormous windows, and superior rustic décor will melt your heart away. The spacious open living room with a large leather sofa that sits right across from the elegant rock wall fireplace with large flat screen TV mounted above the mantle. The double glass doors and windows that open up to the magnificent panoramic hill country views provide plenty of natural sunlight that brightens up the whole room.

You will feel like a gourmet chef if you prepare any meals in this large kitchen. The exposed tin ceiling, mood lights, stainless steel appliances, and ruby red cabinets provide great character and invite you into the room. This sheik, rustic cabin in the woods was a perfect getaway with an outstanding view!! We enjoyed the serenity from the scenic porch every morning and evening. When we wanted to venture out, the lively town of Wimberly was just a short 10-15 minute drive with tons of shopping. The hot tub was amazing to relax in the evenings. If I had to say anything was lacking, it would be the extremely slow coffee maker ( took over an hour to brew a pot), but that is an extremely easy fix and did not take away from our experience. If you are looking for a romantic hideaway, this is your place! We will definitely be back.

Perfect for a couples getaway!
This was our second time staying at this location, both times for our wedding anniversary. It’s the perfect place to decompress and get away from the city for awhile. Very spacious and clean with a beautiful view! We can’t wait to come back next year!

The cabin is beauitful and came exactly as promised. Nice and isolated away from town but still just a 10 minute drive or so into Wimberley. The hot tub is an excellent touch. Oh, and the back porch offers beautiful views of the Hill Country!

The place is beautiful, quiet and clean. Gorgeous walk-in shower. Hot tub was nice and clean as well. The bad... The coffee maker needs attention.. after and 1.5 it made cups out of the 6 I was aiming for. The living room TV was the most complicated process... Could not get it to work properly or even enjoy the speakers throughout the house. There was even a hand typed instruction manual.. could not follow the Rube Goldberg of electronics... Minor things because the rest of the place is beautiful.

We loved our stay at the cabin. It's nice and quiet with wonderful views. The hot tub was fabulous as well. We were disappointed with the doors not locking, lack of cooking supplies, no clothes hangers or chest for clothes and the coffe maker took over 2 hours per pot!

The place has amazing views and it is super clean but everything inside is cheap. We arrived late and it was raining very heavily, we were thirsty and hungry but there is no drinking water or snacks or anything, I felt I’m in cheap hotel. Floor lamp is falling, shower has sample of shampoo, conditioner and body wash only for one person and for one time, TV is so small and old and it has DVD player “but there’s no DVD movie at the place”, no wood in the fire place and outside grill is super old and rusty. This place is away from everything and people go there to stay at the place so it would be great to have smart and bigger tv, some board games, snacks, some water bottles, normal size shampoo and conditioner and it needs some love and generosity.

The cabin was excellent, with spectacular views. We had 2 minor issues: 1) we were not able to turn on the TV because it was extremely complicated, 2) the coffee pot took a little over an hour to brew. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.
