I splurged on this hotel gor my final three nights of a month long trip. This was the worst hotel I stayed at in the month.It was not as expected and I was left highly disappointed. I do not think the sheets had been changed from previous guest. The decorative pillows and shoe guard were full of hair and so were the area between the sheets. I reported to the front desk but was told sheets could not be changed until the next day meaning I had to sleep in dirty sheets. I had issues with housekeeping each day of my stay. Two of three lamps did not work and neither did the towel heater and room was not cleaned one day even when requested. The hotel felt dirty even in restaurant and I felt the whole place felt like needed a deep cleaning. It was a huge letdown considering the price of the hotel. The only good thing was the location next to the river and the bridge to Eton and convenient to Windsor Castle. I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay here when I return next year.I am sure the Travelodge next to the train station us just as clean.

Great hotel, that gives a cozy feeling although a large hotel. Great location, staff amazing all very polite and friendly, good and drink fabulous. Rooms great, would thoroughly recommend, breakfast with a river view perfect.

The location is wonderful. Staff is great. The bar only offered two cocktails, a lemon or pinapple concoction. Menu is underwhelming. Facility is a bit tired looking. Pillows are terrible. Nice bathroom. Nice view.

Our time in Windsor was made extra special because our stay at Sir Christopher Wren. Our room had a panoramic view of Windsor Castle that was magical to look at lit up at night. The bed was comfy and we enjoyed sitting in chairs getting lost in the view. The staff were amazing! Helpful with needs and so friendly. We loved sitting a stones throw from the Thames River have a drink from the bar or eating from their wonderful breakfast buffet. And we were only a few minutes walk to the castle, and countless boutique shops and eateries. We will be back!! . .

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Great position in Windsor overlooking the river. Friendly doorman. Our room was just across the street in Windsor House. The building is charming with lots of artwork on display. The room was well laid out with plenty of space for cases. The bathroom was very modern with useful shelves. All very clean. Breakfast was excellent and good quality. The hotel car park was nearby and had no trouble parking.

We stayed in six different hotels in our nine nights in the UK and this was, by far, our favorite (and not even the most expensive!). The location was incredible, the room was beautiful and quiet, the bathroom was large and clean, and the breakfast was wonderful - many good selections and a gorgeous view from the dining room. If I had one thing to nitpick, it was that I booked the room partially based on the fact that the listing said there was parking available, but when we arrived, we learned that was not the case and we had to find our own parking in a public lot. Not a big deal and not much different than other hotels in the area (and around the UK), but your hotel description should be updated to say that a limited number of parking spots is available; because it is misleading to say you provide parking when that's not always the case. Otherwise, a lovely stay all around!

They tried to fob me off at check in and put me in some building across the street which they claimed was part of the historic hotel. No help with luggage on arrival. Hotel manager did carry a suitcase to my room which was appreciated as the room was about 50 yards away around multiple corners and staircases. Afternoon tea was beautiful freshly baked scones which were a treat
