A great little hotel. The staff are exceptional… nothing is a problem. They were extremely accommodating when our shower had issued. Rooms are simple but stylish. Only negative comment is that the air conditioning is very loud so couldn’t use it at night.

Housekeeping left a lot to be desired.No phone in room so couldn't contact reception when using own phone they didnt answer.Shower head didnt work properly.Nowhere to put clothes apart from 2 hangers no drawers or even a chair to sit on.

Didn't like the glass enclosed crossover from one part of the building to the accommodation area - only because I am afraid of heights and could see clearly right down t the ground level.

I stayed in a room with an accessible bathroom and whilst there was a shower curtain, water spread over 2/3rds of the floor. It took a long time to dry. I suggest that a squiggle mop be provided to wipe the floor. The bed squeaked always when I first got into it, but was OK as I slept well. The best thing about Hotel Totto was its location - close to some great eating places and shops. But even better, were the staff - everyone of them happy to help you with a smile on their faces and a cheerful disposition. The staff made up for the shortcomings in the accessible bathroom.

Check the room size.
The room was extremely small including the shower, there was not enough room to pass the bed unless one person waited. There was no iron and ironing board, i can see why, there be no room to fit then in. Only one coffee cup and one glass. If we were staying longer than 0ne night we would have changed hotels. i must say the breakfast was good value and nice staff.

Had to change rooms as a mattress had huge brown stains on it. Fridge in this room was extremely loud and toilet roll holder was coming off wall. Staff were amazing about this and offered new room. In new room, had another stain on doona that was in between the two sheets. Stain looked fresh like it wasn’t even changed. Staff again were very apologetic and had room made up again. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and it was extremely noisy until about 3am. Motorbikes and cars hooning up and down the street, a huge fight between 2 men on the street near our window-swearing loudly, kicking, punching each other, with one kicking the cars up and down the street. Not a great experience. Won’t be staying again.

VERY cramped room, no chair, no counter, no storage space, no closet, wash basin but no counter. Only two big knobs on wall to hang stuff from. Room 107 on very end by street so truck noise bad starting at 5 am.
