Badly maintained property in a lovely location.
* The property was unclean, on arrival we had to wipe down all surfaces to make them acceptable.
* The toilet was very badly stained and not even thick bleach left overnight would clean it.
* Lights either side of the bathroom washbasin, and under the kitchen cabinet did not work.
* The whole property needs essential maintenance like the back door which was too hard to lock, so we had to leave it unlocked overnight. The taps on the bath and in the kitchen are loose and need attention. The windows need cleaning.
* The back 'garden' was unkempt with dirty decking.
* The utensils in the kitchen were old and unpleasant, the electric kettle lid was broken, we did not use the cooker, so no comment.
* The owners have made no attempt to make this property attractive or comfortable and are relying on its position to get bookings. It is suggested that they look at other rental properties in this lovely little street, and start giving value for money. .
