Staff very helpful. Room wall partitions are thin. Food OK though on the expensive side. Spa facilities very good. Fairiy close to Exeter. We would return.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room not the cleanest with mud and biscuit crumbs under desk and around bin. But bed very comfy and plenty of towels. Evening menu a little limited. Spa lovely but really crowded and main hot tub broken.

Pool area really good. The hotel bar is understocked and needs a cask ale other than chilled tap beers and lagers. The bar Open Fire is lovely when lit, although could not be lit unless maintenance do it?? Marie in the Kitchen and bar is lovely and was a pleasure to see her serving in the mornings.

Lovely lodge
One night stay with the family. The lodge was excellent, it’s huge, warm and welcoming. 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms and excellent living space & amenities. Highly recommend and will return.

Dated, but good for late mornings in bed.
The hotel is worn, in need of renovation... Spa facilities were above average (sauna, stam room, hot tubs, winning pool), but again worn. Gym. WiFi is good. Breakfast finishes at 10. Service is decent. Limited selection on menu and at bar ... Special things like baby Guinness are not possible. Area is lovely but remote... Exeter is 30 mins and taxis are sparse.

Had an interior room which was dated , had to have blinds down at all times due to coridor in hotel that was overlooking room. Did use sauna and steam room which were fine ,changing room itself small and was very hot and humid .
