Devon Beach Court is a spacious two bedroom apartment comfortably accommodating up to four. The bright and airy apartment is located on the Esplanade just a few minutes walk from the award-winning Woolacombe beach, and directly across the road from Barricane Beach where curries are served during the summer months - just bring your own wine as you watch the sunset!
Set in a private building with 12 apartments and off road parking to the rear (one space per apartment), Devon Beach Court is the ideal home-away-from-home for families or couples looking to enjoy a holiday beside the sea.
The apartment is located on the second floor of the building and can be accessed either via the lift or stairs. Inside it is light and tastefully decorated with a wonderful contemporary feel. There are also plenty of homely touches to make your stay here nice and comfortable.
The open plan living room is nice and large and leads to the apartment's private balcony, which has side sea views over the beach. The living area has been nicely divided into three sections, including the lounge with two comfy sofas, a TV and a DVD player; the dining area with a good sized table seating up to five (high chair also available), and finally the well-equipped kitchen complete with an electric oven, a gas hob, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine. A tumble dryer and a range of equipment for the beach can be found in the spacious hallway cupboard.
The two bedrooms are situated towards the rear of the apartment and include the Master with double bed and en-suite shower room, and a colourful bunk room with full size bunk beds and fun bean bags. A travel cot is also available at the apartment if required. The final room is the family bathroom, which is fitted with a bath, a WC and a sink.
Whist staying at the apartments guests can also take advantage of the large communal balcony, which has seating and stunning views of the ocean stretching from Baggy Point to Mortehoe; it is also from here that you can watch the sun set behind Lundy Island.
Devon Beach Court really is ideally located for those wishing to enjoy a beach or coastal holiday. The three-mile stretch of Woolacombe beach is perfect for families with lifeguards on duty from Easter through to the end of the October half term, water sports are also available with surfing lessons provided for all abilities. Woolacombe itself is a lively little village with lovely restaurants and several quaint shops. There is even a spa at the nearby Woolacombe Bay Hotel.
From Woolacombe guests can set off along the South West Coast Path heading to either Braunton or Ilfracombe. Alternatively, head in land and explore the wilderness of the Exmoor National Park, which is less than a 30-minute drive from the apartment.
