Family haven w/pool close to College of Wooster and downtown

Welcome to your home away from home - a custom-designed, mid-century house on a peaceful, centrally located street, within walking distance of the College of Wooster. The entire home is available to renters, and is complete one-story living, with a large fully equipped, eat-in kitchen, combined living/dining area with a dining table, smart tv with Roku, as well as board games and books. Down the hall are three spacious bedrooms and more storage. There are a total of three full baths, a laundry room available for guest use, and plenty of closet space and built-ins for your stay.

The first bedroom has a king sized bed, three closets and a private bath with a tub/shower as well as a separate vanity area.

All mattresses and box-springs are locally Amish-made, the same grade used in hotels.

In warm months enjoy the three seasons room that leads to the pergola in the backyard and in-ground pool! The pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Pool is available to renters staying in the house only.

There is ample off-street parking and a large yard to enjoy. The family friendly neighborhood is quiet with mature trees, perfect for walking, with a park in walking distance.

The house is equi-distance from the north end shopping/movie theater, and the downtown dining, shops and events.

Reunion
An awesome large homey house in a perfect location! A retreat in itself! If you are in need for a stay in Wooster, this is the place for you. I shared it with 5 high school friends who came together to sport fun and laughter. All guest were so impressed that we were able to feel at home in this marvelous house. Everything you need, just drop by the grocery and explore Wayne Coubty’s magic.

We were 5 adults in town to see our friend's daughter in 3 Light Opera productions. First the positives, which are many. This is an extremely spacious, well-appointed house, with attractive landscaping. It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood a mile or so from downtown. Each of the bedrooms is large, and the primary bedroom can almost be considered as a suite. The A/C works well. We didn't use it, but there is a huge TV screen. The beds (king, and multiple queens) are quite comfortable and there are a number of lovely seating and dining areas, including a covered outside space. The pool was a nice feature, if small and not really appropriate for lap swimming; the pool area and patio were extremely pleasant and there are lounges and some pool toys. The only negative was a kind of "nickel and diming" feel to the rental, where the hosts provided a single roll of toilet paper in each bathroom (their written material informed us that additional paper was up to the renter), a single roll of paper towels, and there was only liquid soap in the bathrooms (no shampoo/conditioner dispensers as there are in so many other rentals); there were few basic supplies in the kitchen other than salt and pepper - there was no soap for the washing machine and no dishwasher liquid, although this was provided later, rather late in the day after we reported it. Regardless of the small annoyances, this was an excellent choice and we would totally opt to stay there again should we be in Wooster.

A great find.
The house was quiet, comfortable, warm and welcoming. We were visiting my daughter for Thanksgiving and the location was great. Just a few blocks from the college. Check in and out was simple and quick with clear instructions. We were able to move right in. The owners made it clear they would be available if any issues arose, but we didn’t have any. If you’re visiting kids attending the college this is a great place to stay with plenty of room to relax, play cards, and enjoy the time together.

We had an awesome getaway and enjoyed our stay. The house was super spacious. You don't often find a house with quality mattresses but every bed had the best mattress on them. The location is in a very quiet neighborhood and there is no road traffic noise to keep you awake at night. the house was perfectly suited for 5 sisters to relax and play tons of cards games and have lots of laughs. Would stay here again - our host was great and it was nice to actually meet him and put a face to a name.

Our Family and close friends came to Wooster Ohio to kayak and float on the Mohican River. We also wanted to visit the Landoll's Mohican Castle in Loudonville Ohio. We loved staying at this clean family friendly home where we could spread out and play in the pool and BBQ. Our hosts were very gracious and attentive to any of our needs. We will stay here again. So in love with the decor and the tiles in the restrooms, love the designs. Highly recommend this property.

The Perfect stay for a long girls weekend.
This mid-century modern home is the perfect setting for a gathering of 4-9 people. Be it a girl's weekend like ours or a family event in town, there is plenty of room to spread out. The house is on a beautiful Oak lined street that was perfect for our morning and evening walks. Neighbors were friendly. Parking is off-street and can fit several vehicles. I have never been in a house where every room was extra spacious. The hallways were super wide, additionally, there is an abundance of storage which includes walk-in closets, too many kitchen cupboards to even count, built-in drawers, etc. There is also a mud room near the back entrance which was great for storing our baggage and coolers. We were fortunate to book for mid-August and spent the afternoons at the swimming pool. Outside the back entrance, there is a very nice covered pergola with a table and 6 chairs. This was perfect for morning coffee with a book, afternoon snacks around the pool, and family meals. We sat outside into we hours of the evening, with a cocktail, listening to bullfrogs and crickets. The hosts were very accommodating and quick in responding when we had questions. I would recommend this VRBO, and we hope to stay again next summer.

My sister, brother and I spent the week at this house for a quiet family get away with our older parents. The house is unique and quite large - most importantly, it was a perfect fit for our little group. The house is well maintained and clean.
