This quadplex has been a local landmark for years, housing countless groups of surfers and locals alike! Recently renovated and up-fitted with high-end finishes, the building now is open to the public and giving everyone a chance to stay between the Ocean and Banks Channel. La Moderna is one of the two-bedroom ground floor units – the perfect pit stop for a couples retreat, a family beach getaway or surf trip!

Tastefully finished by the team at Casa Del Sol and Galarde Interiors to provide a luxurious yet laid back feel.

There are 4 total units located at this property– 2 on the ground floor, 1 on the second floor and one on the top floor! There is assigned parking for each unit on the premises.

Short New Years Getaway
We traveled to Wrightsville Beach for a quick New Years getaway. This was the perfect location to stay for our family of four. We were less than a 5 minute walk to coffee, the pier, and multiple beach access points. It was our first time in town and we hope to come back another time and explore some more!

Close but lacking
We were blocked with access to our property on arrival. Luckily I could lift our bags to my chest to get in. People upstairs had two cars and had blocked the walkway. Apartment was nicely appointed. 3:45 am I thought someone was either in our unit or trying to enter. After accessing the situation it turned out there was no insulation in the ceiling and the noise was coming from the unit above us. We could hear every footstep of people and their dog. The noisiest unit I have ever rented. The location was a short walk from the beach.

Nice place
This was a nice place. My only concern was there was no toilet paper at all. I’m sure it would have been brought over if asked but I had brought a roll. Also not even a small bar of soap. Doesn’t have a dishwasher which was fine but nothing to be able to dry the dishes with. Parking Is a challenge at this property. Overall it was fine. We enjoyed our stay.
