Beautiful hotel although rather small. Superior double room seemed smaller than expected and unfortunately the bed was very uneven on one side. Stayed in the match maker room on ground floor. Great staff.

Stayed for 2 nights and the hotel and staff were fantastic. Very comfortable, good sized rooms, loved the quirky decor about the place. Can't comment on the food, we spent all of our time exploring York so decided not to have breakfast, having brunch in town instead and dinner later. Great position, only a ten minute walk to the Minster, onsite parking is a bonus!

Perfect hotel for our weekend In York.
Perfect location for a walk into York. Front of house staff lovely and friendly. Hotel room was beautifully decorated (as was the lounge and bar area). Look forward to returning for another visit.
