First things first…Clouds Rest is inside the Yosemite gates! You will not need to make an additional vehicle reservation! When you stay here, your Clouds Rest reservation is all you need.

Housed within the Yosemite West community, you’ll be within easy reach of all of the breathtaking attractions this natural playground holds while surrounded on all sides by the beauty and majesty of the mountainous landscape. While secluded, the home is within a short distance from hotspots such as Yosemite Valley, offering several local restaurants to try new and local fare. Whether you’re out hiking one of the many trailheads or driving along the abundance of scenic routes, there’s virtually unlimited opportunity to stop along the way for photo ops of the panoramic views or taking a rest next to breathtaking waterfalls. This will truly be an experience you’ll never forget!
The home’s comfortable interior provides spaces for both relaxation and entertainment, decked out in rustic chic décor as a nod to the wilderness just beyond the large picture windows. Stretch out on the plush sofa or kick up your feet in the cozy armchairs while you surf the channels or queue up a movie on the large, mounted smart TV. While quaint, the kitchen comes fully equipped for the convenience of preparing delicious meals right at home, updated with granite countertops and sleek cabinetry. Gather together for dining at the counter on high-top stools for 4 or take your plate onto the covered balcony to enjoy the fresh air and scenery.
This home comfortably sleeps 4 guests between 2 spacious queen size beds located in the loft, both fitted with fresh linens and soft blankets for a great night’s sleep. The home also includes 2 full guest bathrooms, one on each level offering single vanities with shower/tub combos.
THINGS TO NOTE:
- This home does not offer private laundry facilities. However, communal coin laundry facilities are on-site for use. Communal Coin laundry is located in the “B” building. The machines only take quarters. Washer and dryer availability, functionality and maintenance are out of our control. We cannot service the machines.
- Ring camera mounted on door in condo.
- Parking space available.
- Guests need not make a park entry reservation ahead of their visit but must show their confirmed booking information upon arrival and pay $35 per non-commercial vehicle to enter. Entry is good for 7 days.
- Grand Welcome manages this unit within Yosemite West Condos, not the common areas or communal amenities. Communal amenities include, but are not limited to, coin operated laundry (washer and dryer), Wi-Fi and parking. If there are issues with communal amenities during your stay, please reach out to us. We will communicate directly with the condo HOA to attempt to expedite any repairs.
- This welcoming condo is deep in Yosemite and one step from nature and as such is subject to the natural occurrences of snow, rain, wind, falling pine needles and leaves, dust/dirt, animals and insects. As these issues persist long after we clean, there is a broom, and other necessary items to assist you in clearing the balcony.
Yosemite West is located within the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park. It's a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, offering a variety of activities and attractions.
For good reason, one of the most popular things to do in Yosemite West is to hike. There are a number of trails that lead into Yosemite National Park, so you can easily explore the park's many natural wonders. If you're looking for a more challenging hike, you can try the Mist Trail, which leads to Vernal and Nevada Falls. If you’re not into hiking, there are still plenty of other things to do such as fishing, biking, or swimming. You can also visit the Yosemite Museum, which has exhibits on the park's history and natural features. No matter what you're interested in, you're sure to find something to do in Yosemite West!
