Peaceful stay in Yosemite
Nice location in Southern Yosemite not far from Mariposa Grove. House was spacious and clean. Plenty of supplies for family comfort. Huge deck making for perfect family grilling. Recommend you buy food outside park to avoid high prices of local markets.

Cozy Cabin in the Heart of Yosemite
The cabin met our needs for 2 families. A little awkward with the bathroom setup, but the space overall was great. There is floor to floor carpet in both bathrooms, which felt unsanitary. Otherwise, the location is beautiful and there is a lovely grocery market right down the street.

We had plenty of room and any cooking equipment you could ask for. It was clean and quiet. Wifi and tv were great. The only drawback for us was the long drive to and from tge valley.

We spent 2 days at the cabin. The kitchen was well equipped although we only used it for breakfast. The beds in the bunkbed room were uncomfortable for older people but I’m sure children wouldn’t mind.

We almost got snowed in. Owners were super helpful. They even brought us a snow shovel!!
We loved this property! So spacious and comfortable. Perfect for the six of us. An easy 45 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. Loved the wood burning stove. The kitchen was spacious, the beds were comfy. A late season storm almost snowed us in. The owners’ staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They brought us a snow shovel and even helped find some snow chains for our car. We’re definitely coming back to this house!

Amazing Property
This place is about an hour outside of Yosemite Valley. However, the town shop was at the end of the street and the shop workers were so nice. The house was great and they really thought of everything. Thank you for being so accommodating to my two nieces (2 years and one under 1 year). We will book again for sure.

Wawona house
Overall it was OK. We expected this to be a little more private but it's right in the middle of a neighborhood. The water pressure was very low....only one person could shower at a time. There was a funky odor when entering. The air filter looked like it had not been changed for a very long time. Only 2 burners worked on the stove. I reached out to the management/owner and never got a reply. Yosemite village was an hour drive without traffic....this is much closer to Mariposa Grove, 15-20 minutes. We've stayed at several VRBO's and this is the first time nobody responded to a message. We just kinda figured things out as we went. No hair dryer to be found...minor, but still something they could provide. We would not stay here again.

Perfect spot in Yosemite
We stayed here for a few days with family visiting from Germany. We generally avoid Yosemite during the summer due to the crowds, but this end of the park was great. The property is close to the south entrance, and the Mariposa Grove, and a reasonable drive into the valley (Get there early to secure parking). The house itself was comfortable--plenty of comfortable places to sit. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals, and there was a gas grill outside. The beds were comfortable. All in all, a great stay!

Nice little cabin
Overall, it was fine and I would rent again. Cons: Management communication. I emailed day before check in asking if early check in was possible. No response. Once checked in, there were only 2 total rolls of toilet paper in the house. Asked them to bring more (and paper towels). They did respond and said the would bring some. They dropped off only 3 rolls in an open package. They did not bring any paper towels. We had to buy very expensive TP at the local store. There were many tiny ants on the counters. Only one propane tank and you would need to buy one if you run out of propane. They should have a back up. Pros: Good location in Wawona. Besides the ants, place seemed pretty clean. Nice wrap around deck Quiet neighborhood Be aware that to get to one of the bedrooms, you need to go through a bathroom.

Lovely home. Kitchen has lots of cookware and dishes. We used the grill and it worked perfectly. Plenty of room for 10 ppl. Washer and dryer were a nice addition, if a little inconvenient inside one of the bedrooms. Only disappointment was the shower situation- low water pressure and only 1 person could shower at a time. Don’t even think about running the dishwasher or a load of laundry at the same time as sometime is showering. Water would fluctuate from scalding hot to freezing cold and the pressure would drop. We figured it out on the first night and made sure we alternated showers between the 2 bathrooms. Overall it’s a great location, very convenient to Mariposa Grove and a waterfall hike. About an hour drive to the Yosemite Valley.

Quaint Stay but not Straightforward
Pros: Good property in a great community. My friends and I enjoyed the kitchen and the wraparound deck. Very comfortable place that is perfect to come back to after a long day in Yosemite Valley. Also recommend going to the Pine Tree Market at the end of the road - friendly people and a small town vibe. You can find quite a bit of what you would need at this market and if you need internet, they have Wi-Fi. Cons: The big one is the lack of communication with the managers. I think part of this is on me because I should have figured a code would be needed to get into the property. I never asked about the code and wrongly assumed that the info would be readily available. If you stay at this property, make sure you ask well in advance what the code is to access the place because when you enter the park there is little to no reception and no internet. My friends and I had to wait an hour (we also had food in the car) before we went to the manager’s property to ask her what the code was - obviously not the ideal situation. This situation would have been especially bad and scary if the manager wasn’t in her place. We were lucky however and the manager was very pleasant given the situation. Other con was that the property wasn’t the cleanest but that is to be expected when you are staying in nature so that wasn’t the worst thing. Overall, I’d consider returning to this property and enjoyed my stay. Just do the due diligence earlier rather than later!
