Very nice stay at Novotel in Ypres/Leper. Parking had been a concern, but it turned out to be easy to find on-street parking in the evening (we arrived around 1815) and the hotel staff were very helpful in not only recommending parking options but also providing a parking disc which proved useful. The room was brilliant as well, especially as we had our 2 children who had their own little bedroom with 2 individual beds; had been expecting a sofa-bed but they got proper beds! Great night sleep for all! Great stuff. Then there was also a mini-fridge in the room which was helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel if visiting the town for the service. If you’re also looking for food options in the evening, would highly recommend Captain Cook on the street towards the Meningate and after the 2000 service the restaurant quietens down.

A really pleasant hotel whose staff were a real credit to them. So friendly and helpful and the hotel was a 90 second walk right into the centre of Ypres. Spacious and clean room and a good breakfast option. No permanent bartender and this isn’t a party hotel but a wonderful place to spend a few days in Ypres. There is free parking next to the Hotel but it can get busy and it is first come, first served..
