good location, quiet, reasonable bus service to train. 3 stops to Berlin central. Pillow too soft, pulled my neck out. Sauna simply great.free parking, great! free wifi a bit of a problem. too slow and unreliable. pay 3€ for 24 hrs. is faster. Generally, would stay there again.

Nach dem Essen von Eiersalat am Morgen des zweiten Tages habe ich am Abend mit Durchfall und Erbrechen zu kämpfen. Dieser Eiersalat war keines falls frisch. Auch das Obst in den Gläschen war nicht frisch. Wer auf das Wohl der Gäste bedacht ist,serviert nur frische Speisen dieser Art. Dann lieber weniger.

Unser zimmer war etwas klein...und was ich schade und als sehr störend empfand ist, dass das Bett gleich neben der Zimmereingangstür steht. Leider quietschte und knarrte es bei jeder Bewegung. Das Bad war sehr schön und modern eingerichtet... Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber und ansprechend eingerichtet.

Ich kann das Hotel sehr empfehlen, es ist gut über den Berliner Ring zu erreichen, Parkmöglichkeit ist vorhanden, Empfang und gesamtes Personal sind kompetent und freundlich. Sauberkeit allgemein, im Zimmer und im Restaurant ist hervorragend. Das Verhältnis Preis/Leistung ist akzeptabel. Mit dem erhöhten Flugverkehr kann man auskommen, dreifach verglaste Fenster wären aber empfehlenswert. Da ich Hessenwinkel schon mehrere Jahrzehnte kenne, sind mir vorwiegend ungepflegte Fußwege ausserhalb des Hotels beim Spaziergang aufgefallen.

Am Anreisetag war der Service (Rezeption, Restaurant) gut. Am nächsten Tag das genaue Gegenteil. Die Servicekraft im Frühstücksraum war extrem unfreundlich. Da nur sehr wenige Gäste anwesend waren, gab es kein Buffet. Stattdessen bekam man Wurst und Käse auf Tellern zugeteilt. Ein kleiner Napf mit Joghurt und Obstsalat waren lauwarm. Die Servicekraft fragte nach geraumer Zeit, ob wir noch Wünsche hätten. Ich äußerte den Wunsch nach einem weiteren Körner-Brötchen. Dies wurde uns zwar gebracht, aber Gesichtsausdruck und Gestik waren derart unfreundlich, es fehlte eigentlich nur ein genervtes Augenrollen. Dieser Umstand und das für dieses Mini Frühstück trotzdem pro Person 15 € verlangt wurden, hält mich eher davon ab, dort noch einmal zu buchen. Schade. Wir waren vor vielen Jahren schonmal dort, da hatte ich das Hotel weitaus besser in Erinnerung. Und das liegt nicht nur am nunmehr vorhandenen Fluglärm…
