If you're planning a holiday that involves air travel but you're not sure where you want to go, you can click on the Destination Deals option at the bottom of the page and then look for flights by country to find great deals there. Once you've selected your departure and arrival destinations, you can find some of the cheapest flights by sorting by price (lowest to highest). If you see the blue button “Shop flight + hotel”, you can click on that to find deals on round-trip flights combined with hotels that will reduce the strain on your wallet even more. Using the “Price per traveller” filter on the left, you can fine-tune the “flight + stay” listings to only include the options that are within your budget. Again, as in the flight-only options, you can sort by price so that the cheaper air tickets and stay packages are listed first, making them easier to spot. If you're looking for cheap tickets, your chances of finding them go up if you look early in the week. So, search for airline tickets on a Monday, rather than a Friday, because flight bookings purchased on that day have some of the lowest airfares on average. You'll also often find good deals by booking during the weekend. Keep in mind that off-season months also often feature bargain offers. February is generally cheaper for flight tickets than a more popular travel month like December, for example. 

You can cancel your air tickets online for most bookings, including those made with points. Before cancelling, review the airline's rules in your itinerary for fees or restrictions. Some non-refundable tickets may be refunded in cases like jury duty, medical issues, death or military orders, but documentation is needed, and it's up to the airline to approve. 

If your booking was made in the last 24 hours, you might be able to cancel for free, depending on the airline's policies. After 24 hours, cancellation fees typically apply. For non-refundable fares, you won't get a refund but may receive airline credit for future use. 

To cancel, go to “My Trips”, select “Cancel flight”, and follow the steps. Low-cost airlines (e.g. Frontier, Spirit) handle their cancellations directly, but assistance is available. For round-trip flights with two one-way fares, cancel each leg separately. If you miss a flight, the return flight may be cancelled unless the flight tickets were booked as two one-way fares. If your flight is part of a holiday package, additional details apply.
