Competition Period
6am (AEDT) on 19/10/2020 to 11.59pm (AEDT) on 15/11/2020.
Who can enter?
Only Australian residents who are aged 18 or over.
Who can't enter?
Directors, officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of:
(a) the Promoter, Sponsor and the affiliates; and
(b) the agencies, companies or participating premises associated with this competition.

Entry instructions
To enter, you must, during the Competition Period visit the Website, locate the entry page and fill out and submit the online entry form and provide all requested information.
How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen?
There will be 1,001 winners determined in respect of this competition – 1,000 minor winners and 1 major winner.
There will be 5 draws conducted - 4 minor draws and 1 major draw.
Minor draws
There will be one minor draw conducted in respect of each Monday - Sunday week of the Competition Period (each, a Competition Week). The minor draws will be held commencing at 12pm (AEDT) at Gadens Lawyers, Level 13, 447 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (Gadens Lawyers) on each of 28/10/2020, 04/11/2020, 11/11/2020 and 18/11/2020.
The first 250 valid entries drawn randomly in each minor draw from the entries received during the relevant Competition Week during the Competition Period will win a minor prize.
Entries received in respect of each minor draw will roll over to subsequent minor draws. For the avoidance of doubt, if an entry has been drawn as a minor winner, it will also be included in subsequent minor draws and will be included in the major draw.
Major draw
The major draw will be held at 12pm (AEDT) on 19/11/2020 at Gadens Lawyers.
The first valid entry drawn randomly from the entries received during the Competition Period (including previous winning entries) will win the major prize.
The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in a draw and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).
What can I win?
There are 1,001 prizes available – 1,000 minor prizes and 1 major prize.
Minor prize
Each minor prize is a $100 Wotif select accommodation coupon.
Minor prizes can be redeemed between 6am (AEDT) 19/10/2020 and 11.59pm (AEDT) 31/07/2021 for travel that must take place between 19/10/2020 and 31/12/2021.

Major prize
The major prize is a $5,000 Wotif travel credit to use towards Australian domestic travel in up to two transactions, as available at Wotif.com.

Major prize
The major prize is a $5,000 Wotif travel credit to use towards Australian domestic travel in up to two transactions, as available at Wotif.com.
The major prize is subject to the following conditions:
(c) Any booking over the value of $5,000 will be discounted by $5,000.
(d) Re-bookings are not allowed.
(e) The value of the booking is not refundable and any remaining balance will be forfeited.
(f) The prize must be booked and completed by 31/12/2021.
(g) The prize is subject to availability. Blackout periods may apply depending on the winner's chosen location.
The Sponsor will work with the winner to book their travel. The Promoter will be in contact with the winner within 5 business days of determination to book the winner's travel on their behalf.
Total prize pool
The minor prize pool is $100,000.
The total prize pool is $105,000.
How many times can I enter?
There is a limit of 1 entry in total per person and per valid email address during the Competition Period.
How and when will the winner/s be informed?
Minor winners will be notified and receive their prize by email to the email address associated with their entry within five days of determination.
The major winner will be notified in writing by email to the email address associated with their entry within five days of determination.
The major winner will have their name and state/territory of residence published on www.wotif.com/lp/competition-winners on 20/11/2020 for a period of 28 days.
Unclaimed major prize
Major prize claim date: 5pm (AEST) on 09/12/2020
Unclaimed prize determination: 12pm (AEST) on 12/12/2020 at Gadens Lawyers.
If the major prize has not been accepted or claimed by the major prize claim date above or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact the major winner (or the major winner does not contact the Promoter) by the major prize claim date above, the relevant entry will be discarded and the Sponsor will re-award the major prize to a Reserve Entrant and/or carry out an unclaimed prize draw at the date, time and place stated above to randomly distribute the major prize. Any winner will be informed in writing by email to the email address associated with their entry within two days of determination. Any winner will have their name and state/territory of residence published on www.wotif.com/lp/competition-winners on 14/12/2020 for a period of 28 days.
In the event a winner cannot be found, this information will be published on the Website on 14/12/2020.
Collection and use of your personal information
If you are a winner, you must take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Sponsor requires, without any compensation. You consent to the Promoter using your name and image in any promotional or advertising activity.
The Sponsor may collect your personal information directly or through their agents or contractors. The Sponsor will use your personal information as necessary in order to conduct and manage the competition and where we have a lawful basis to do so, to send marketing communications to you. The Sponsor may disclose your personal information to its related companies, agents and contractors to assist in conducting and managing this competition, communicating with you or storing data. This may include disclosures to organisations outside Australia including in places such as the United States.

1 These Terms and Conditions incorporate and must be read together with the details outlined in the table above. Information about prizes and how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering, you accept these Terms and Conditions.
Entry
2 Your entry must be received during the Competition Period and will be deemed to be received only when received by the Sponsor. You will receive a return message confirming your entry. The Promoter and Sponsor are not liable for any problems with communications networks. You are responsible for your own costs associated with entering. If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple phone numbers/email addresses/addresses/aliases, you may be disqualified.
Prizes
3 Prizes and all elements of prizes must be taken as and when offered or will be forfeited, and if forfeited, the Promoter and Sponsor will not be liable. Prizes are subject to any additional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant supplier or the Sponsor, including, as relevant:
(a) validity period/s;
(b) booking and availability of flights, accommodation and events;
(c) conditions of travel (including behaviour requirements);
(d) travel dates and specified travel exclusion periods;
(e) any additional fees (payable by you) relating to changes made by you to a prize after it has been booked;
(f) the requirement to obtain all necessary documents to travel to any overseas location specified, including a current and valid passport and any visas required;
(g) a requirement to present your credit card when checking in to accommodation; and
(h) a requirement that any person taking the prize that is aged under 18 years old must be accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times.
4 Coupon code discounts apply only to select stand-alone accommodation bookings (not accommodation booking in combination with any other product or offering such as flight + accommodation or flight + accommodation + car) made online at www.wotif.com and pre-paid at the time of booking, subject to the restrictions set out in the terms below:
(a) Subject to the restrictions set out in these terms and conditions and compliance with the points above, the coupon code may be applied to a select pre-pay stand-alone accommodation only booking (not accommodation booking in combination with any other product such as flight + accommodation or flight + accommodation + car) made online with wotif.com. The coupon code can only be used for pre-pay bookings and cannot be redeemed against bookings which are paid at the destination.
(b) Coupon codes cannot be redeemed against any pay later bookings, booking of properties offered by VRBO and/or HomeAway entities.
(c) Coupon codes can only be used once. Once an eligible transaction is made with the coupon code, the coupon code will expire.
(d) In the event that you make a booking for more than 1 room, a coupon code will apply only to the first room. In the event your booking is cancelled for any reason, your coupon value will not be refunded and you will not receive a replacement coupon.
(e) Coupon codes entitle the winner to a specified dollar discount off the price of the eligible travel booking before the application of any taxes, applicable fees or additional costs. The coupon cannot be redeemed against taxes, supplier fees, cancellation or change fees/penalties, administrative fees or other miscellaneous charges, which are the sole responsibility of the customer.
(f) Usual booking terms and conditions apply (see https://www.wotif.com/p/info-other/legal.htm) and all bookings are subject to availability.
(g) Coupon codes may not be used or combined with other coupons, promotions or special offers.
(h) Coupon codes cannot be used for any booking previously made. It will be deemed fully redeemed once a qualifying booking has been made. The coupon code has no cash value and no refunds or cash alternative will be offered. There is no residual value and no credit will be issued if the purchase amount is less than the coupon code discount. The coupon code may not be re-used, even in the event that you change or cancel the booking. Any purchase made over and above a coupon discount amount will be at the winner’s expense.
(i) Coupon are personal and may only be used by eligible minor prize winners.
(j) Improper use of the coupon codes including, but not limited to, publication or selling of the coupon code is prohibited, will result in the voiding of the coupon codes use, and may constitute fraud.
(k) If the Sponsor becomes aware, or has reason to suspect (in Sponsor’s reasonable opinion) that a customer:
(i) has breached the Terms and Conditions for the coupon;
(ii) has obtained the coupon from an unauthorised channel;
(iii) has used a coupon with a view to re-selling any travel product booked;
(iv) engaged in conduct which impact the fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this offer; or
(v) otherwise acted fraudulently,
the Sponsor may in its ultimate discretion, stop the coupon and/or cancel all bookings made by the customer using the coupon.
(l) Coupons may not be transferred or sold. Coupon codes obtained through unauthorized channels, mutilated, altered, copied, forged, damaged, manipulated, or tampered with in any way will be deemed void.
(m) The Sponsor reserves the right to change or withdraw this offer at any time and to cancel any bookings made where the coupon was improperly obtained or used to make any speculative, false, or fraudulent bookings.
(n) If any provision or part-provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms and conditions.
(o) Coupons are provided by the Sponsor.
(p) Terms and conditions of coupons are as written and cannot be changed by any representation of any unauthorized person, including employees of the Sponsor. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

5 You are responsible for all other unspecified costs related to your prize, including meals, transport, insurance (including excesses), in-room charges, taxes, mobile or data plans, installation costs, costs associated with ongoing use of the prize, etc.
6 You accept that some aspects of a prize may be inherently risky and that the prize may involve dangerous activities. The Promoter, Sponsor, its associated agencies and companies make no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination.
7 The Promoter strongly recommends that you take out travel insurance and consult www.smartraveller.gov.au prior to travelling.
8 In respect of any prize comprising travel or any other activity, you expressly acknowledge that undertaking such travel or activity is at your own risk and sole discretion and you will make your own assessment of the risks and of your own suitability to participate in or to undertake such activity or travel.
9 You must follow government advice in relation to using their prize, in particular they must follow any restrictions in relation to travelling. Please check government advisories before booking and travelling.
10 The Sponsor is not responsible for any dispute between you and any person with whom you choose to, or choose not to, share the prize.
General
11 Any failure by you to comply with the conditions imposed by the prize supplier(s) may result in your prize being cancelled or withdrawn without liability for the Sponsor or the prize supplier(s).
12 You must, if required by the Promoter or Sponsor, sign disclaimer and release forms provided by the Promoter or Sponsor in favour of the Promoter, Sponsor and other parties before taking a prize. If you do not sign, your entry will be deemed invalid and you will lose any entitlement to a prize.
13 If you or your entry are deemed by the Sponsor to breach these Terms and Conditions, your entry may be discarded. The Sponsor may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Sponsor's satisfaction the validity of your entry (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment). Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
14 You must not:
(a) tamper with the entry process;
(b) engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition;
(c) act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
(d) do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition;
(e) breach any law; or
(f) behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
15 The Promoter or Sponsor is not liable for entries, prize claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted.
16 If any dispute arises between you and the Promoter or Sponsor concerning the conduct of this promotion or claiming a prize, the Promoter and Sponsor will take reasonable steps to consider your point of view, taking into account any facts or evidence you put forward, and to respond to it fairly within a reasonable time. In all other respects, the Promoter and Sponsor’s decision in connection with all aspects of this competition is final.
17 Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged nor redeemed for cash. Without limiting any other term of these Terms and Conditions, all prizes (and elements of prizes) must be taken as and when specified, or will be forfeited with no replacement. The prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions and include any applicable GST. The Promoter and Sponsor is not responsible for any change in prize value. You agree that if a prize (or element of a prize) is unavailable for any reason the Sponsor may provide another item of equal or higher value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
18 By entering, you request that your full address not be published.
19 If this competition cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter or Sponsor's control, for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the competition or disqualify affected entries/entrants, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
20 The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from you winning a prize. You should seek independent financial advice. If for GST purposes this competition results in any supply being made for non-monetary consideration, you must follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
Liability
21 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
22 Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury (including allergies, skin conditions or other reactions, as relevant), illness or death suffered in connection with this competition or any prize, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
23 Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter, Sponsor and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable for any loss of, damage to or delay in delivery of prize/s, or for any damage that occurs to displayed prize/s (where relevant). Unless otherwise specified, prize/s will only be delivered to email addresses in Australia.
24 This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You provide your information to the Promoter and Sponsor and not to any social media platform. You completely release any relevant social media platforms from any and all liability.
