Interesting stay.
It’s true what they say “a picture can say a thousand words” However in this case it wasn’t anywhere near the expectation I had built up in my head from them. First night, no chef so had a very limited menu. (Fish or schnitzel) no problem apart from my friends fish was still frozen. From what I could gather the people in the room above me were wrestling but it seemed the women was wrestling with multiple people through the night. The bed was actually comfortable but the room cleanliness wasn’t great. Will not be returning.

Nice but not for long stays
Check in was fast. Room clean and tidy but very dated. Stayed during hottest days staff froze my bottled water each day which was a great help. Hot breakfast same each day but plenty of choose otherwise. As in previous reviews think a transit type hotel. Lots of commercial travelers and workmen. Security gate on carpark and on window so able to leave open. Shutter also great for security and keeping room cool.

Got locked out my room in middle of night
it was clean but the room had a smell which was not the noticeable at first but was alright. I came on the second day at about 2 am and saw that my room was locked and card was not working so I had to go over to helpline which was at car entrance and kind of called for security from there until he opened my room already 30min passed by. Reason was still unknown says the reception.

Fairly basic hotel
It's not easy to find a hotel with parking in Den Bosch, if you want something clean but basic, this may well do the job. Couple of tips: There are four buses into town, the 10 is direct and the 7 nearly so, but they end at 7PM or so. Routes 8 and 9 are more circuitous (and are served by a stop round the corner), but run until 11PM. All go to the station. The Park+Ride might also be considered.

Comfortable for a short stay
Friendly staff and a warm welcome. Detailed pack for hotel and the area. A bit minimal on furniture but adequate for 1 night stay. Powerful shower, plenty of hot water. Room needed a thorough cleaning around the edges with signs of damp in the bathroom.

Great hotel and surrounding area just needs aircon
Overall our stay was very good. The hotel is in need of renovation and hopefully this will include air conditioning! Many Campanile’s have been renovated in France but I believe it is happening rather slowly in the Netherlands. We were unlucky to be at the hotel when the temperatures went through the roof and it was very difficult to be in the room let alone sleep. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant was super and the food absolutely superb. We were travelling with our dogs and the park and lake opposite was a great place to walk. An added advantage was that a fully fenced area was also available where we could let our dogs have a run. By the by, beside the hotel was a gargage not only with Subway but also washing machines and dog washing facilities, a car wash and car mat washing machine. Amazing.

Really disappointing.
It's probably worth spending a bit of extra money for a room elsewhere. Rooms are some of the smallest I've ever seen with extremely outdated decor and furniture (although the rooms were so bare, perhaps the word "decor" is a bit generous). I can't imagine why anyone would want to stay here...the hotel is far from most points of interest and even if it appears cheap, you have to factor in transportation costs which are quite pricey in the Netherlands, making it not so cheap. I suppose as mentioned earlier it's more of a roadtrip hotel than anything.

Disappointed
The manager was not helpful at all with a simple change, and just stood there and watched as we struggled through it with no effort whatsoever. Room was dirty and smelled bad. Neighborhood was great and we plan on going back. We will look for a different hotel in the same neighborhood next time.

Very comfortable hotel with a good breakfast but just a bit too far out of town. A 45 minute walk to the town centre, and the bus service finishes at 7.30 pm weekdays and does not run at all at weekends.

Visit for Cultural events
This hotel is not luxurious. It is much more like a Travel Lodge or a Motel. The rooms are in a completlely separate building from the reception desk, restaurant and meeting room. The accomodation block is built with a central spine wall and this has eight single aspect rooms on each side of this wall accesed from an open air covered logia on the ground floor via small airtight lobbies. Above the ground floor there are two more levels of rooms all accesed from covered open air balconies which are accesed from an open air covered staircase. There is NO LIFT in this building. I was initially allocated a room on an upper floor but would have struggled to get there due to a broken hip. The receptionist (Ninka) was able to rearrange matters to provide a ground floor room for me but there is no way to request such a facility in the booking form that I remember. I had assumed there woulld be a lift. The accomodation was spotlessly clean but sparce. Breakfast was continental but with some superb crispy bacon. The evening meal I had was OK but the menu is slanted towards convenience foods and things with cheese which I cannot eat. Location is quiet but the 1960-70s construction allows structure borne sound to be heard clearly - scraping chairlegs, feet walking in leather shoes etc. Taxi fares to get to the cultural centre of the town varied from 15 to 20 euros on average. Tea making facilities paper cup and very basic. As a covered camp for my cultural jaunts OK
