Know before you book

  • People 16 and under must be accompanied by adult over 20 years of age
  • Please advise us if you have any mobility issues at time of booking as Hobbiton involves walk.
  • We will advise exact departure time once we know where you are staying. It will be between 6:15am and 6:45am.

What you can expect

GUARANTEED DEPARTURE -Due to low numbers and sustained losses caused by Covid 19, until further notice we will need a minimum of 4 people (or price equivalent) to run tours

Visit the Hobbiton Film Set and Rotorua including a visit to Te Puia and the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute, sightseeing and Lunch. All sightseeing is completed by 4:30pm and you can finish at Rotorua or return to Auckland.

If you are staying in Rotorua you will be dropped at your accommodation or a central location in Rotorua, before the group leaves to go back to Auckland.

Our small group tours have a maximum size of 15 passengers and no minimum numbers are required. - Two of the most iconic destinations in the North Island - a must for all visitors to NZ

Please note that because of the amount of travel time this tour is not suitable for children under 2 years as part of the group - In can be booked as a private - please ask Expedia or your travel agent to contact us for the custom price
