Morning: Departure from Ho Chi Minh City & Arrival in My Tho • 07:30 AM - 08:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and depart for My Tho, a bustling town in the Mekong Delta (approx. 1.5 - 2 hours drive). • Arrive at My Tho and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a beautiful Buddhist temple known for its mix of Chinese, Vietnamese, and Khmer architecture. • Head to the pier and board a boat to cruise along the Tien River, enjoying the lush landscapes and vibrant river life.

Midday: Exploring Ben Tre – The Coconut Kingdom • Visit a local coconut processing workshop in Ben Tre, famous for its coconut sweets, handicrafts, and other products. • Take a small rowing boat ride through the narrow water canals lined with nipa palm trees – an iconic experience of the Mekong Delta. • Enjoy tropical fruits and listen to traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music (Đờn Ca Tài Tử) at a local fruit orchard. • Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a riverside restaurant with specialities such as elephant ear fish, fresh spring rolls, and caramelised clay pot fish.
