Day 1: At the gates of the Sahara

  • Accommodation: The nights take place in the desert, in the kheima, the traditional nomad tent, or under the stars.

We will leave in the morning, on foot, from M’Hamid El Ghizlane accompanied by the caravan of dromedaries and the desert bird team (his camel drivers, his guides and his cooks). We will go to join the splendid dunes of Bertham, where many nomads once lived with their herds of dromedaries. We will install the bivouac towards the plain of the ostriches and will pass it will pass the vigil around the fire, under the starry vault.
Day 2:  Mazwrya, meeting place for caravans from Timbuktu

After a good breakfast, we will walk to Mazwrya, the meeting place for caravans coming from Timbuktu not long ago. After the midday meal, it will already be time to take over the direction of M’Hamid and take leave of the caravan after this beautiful breakaway.
