Morogoro is home to Mikumi National Park and the majestic Udzungwa Mountains, which can be seen on your left when coming from Dar es Salaam. These mountains tower over Morogoro, offering a stunning scenic view.

From Morogoro town, this magnificent park lies 33 km. approximately 30-35 minutes drive time. Mikumi National Park, is renowned for its diverse wildlife and scenic landscapes. It covers an area of approximately 3,230 square kilometres and is part of the larger Nyerere (Selous) ecosystem. Visitors to Mikumi can observe a wide array of animals, including large herds of elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and wildebeests. Predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas are also commonly seen. The park is home to some rare animals, such as the African wild dog and the elusive eland. Bird enthusiasts can delight in spotting over 400 species of birds, including the lilac-breasted roller, bateleur eagle, and the striking African fish eagle. Mikumi National Park offers a quintessential safari experience with its rich biodiversity and picturesque savannahs. After an early breakfast you'll begin your journey to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. The Udzungwa Mountains National Park, located in southern Tanzania, is renowned for its stunning landscapes and diverse ecosystems. It encompasses tropical rainforests, mountain and miombo forests, grasslands, and steppes. The park is home to over 400 bird species, thousands of plant species, and six monkey species, including the rare Iringa red colobus and Sanje crested mangabey, which are unique to this region. The Udzungwa National Park boasts the second-highest biodiversity among all national parks in Africa. You'll have a wonderful packed lunch at the water fall and later you'll be transfered to your hotel for dinner and rest
