Overview

This is a group safari to Maasai Mara National Reserve. The safari begins with pick up from Nairobi at a central location from your hotel within Nairobi CBD or the Westlands area near the highway for easy pickup. The safari is in a 4 x 4 Landcruiser Jeep and you will spend the night in a tented camp which is all en-suite with a bathroom, flushing toilet and bed.

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara national Reserves

At 8:00 am, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel within the city centre/Westland area and commence the drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. Here you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the Rift Valley. Lunch will be served at a restaurant on the way. In the evening at 4.30 pm, depart for a sunset game viewing drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve where chances of seeing the big cats are extremely high. Return back to the camp/lodge for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with a good time of resting. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Lenchada Tented Camp or similar.
Day 2: Maasai Mara Full Day Game Drive

Have breakfast at 6:30 am and at 7:00 am, leave for a full-day game viewing drive in the park. On this day, spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five, hippos and Nile crocodiles. Thereafter, go for a picnic lunch in the park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park. Optional: In the evening, visit the local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour at USD 20. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Lenchada Tented Camp or similar.
Day 3: Maasai Mara to Nairobi

Nairobi

Depart from Maasai Mara to Nairobi. After breakfast depart masai mara with option to visit Maasai Village to pay USD20 per person direct to masai. Thereafter, commence the drive back to Nairobi. On arrival, you will be dropped off at the city centre/hotel within the city centre.
