Mikumi National Park is the fourth largest Tanzania National Park and a very easily accessible national park, located in the Morogoro region. Mikumi National Park is one of Africa’s most surprising parks you’ll quickly discover that it’s a wonderful place to watch wildlife. On safari here you can expect to see three of Africa’s most sought-after predators lions, leopards and endangered African wild dogs. You’ll also spot wildebeest, giraffes, honey badgers, buffaloes, and a long-running research centre that
studies yellow baboons. Watch for two giants of the African safari experience: elephants and baobabs. Surrounded by mountains, you’ll enjoy excellent bird watching and a range of signature African habitats, including open plains fringed with thin woodlands

Day 1 Dar es salaam to Mikumi.
Pick up from the airport, hotel, or ferry, and drive to Mikumi National Park, which is approximately a 5-hour drive. Stop in Morogoro for lunch and proceed to Mikumi National Park. On arrival in the park, you will immediately visit the Maasai Boma. After your visit, you will be brought back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight at Camp Bastian Mikumi.

Day 2 Mikumi Full Day Game Drive.
After breakfast, we start on a full-day game drive to spot animals in Mikumi national park. One of Mikumi's features is that it's stretched across a big plain, so you have the ability to spot a lot of animals. Mikumi National Park host animals like lion, elephant, buffalo, impala, zebras and many other wild animals. Enjoy your lunch at the picnic campsites in Mikumi national park. Head to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Camp Bastian Mikumi.

Day 3 Mikumi National Park to Dar es salaam.
We'll have breakfast in the morning, and afterwards, we'll drive back to Dar es Salaam via Morogoro town.
On arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped at the ferry for the second or last ferry to Zanzibar, or we can drop you off at the airport or hotel.
