20 min drive. Leaving the cruise port we will drive along the midwest coast and you will see the Flamingo Airport and the teamo beach. For snorkellers and divers it is attractive to explore the Te Amo reef.
Salt Pier

Using Bonaire's salt, sea and wind, salt accumulates in impressive crystal formations. Bonaire's salt pyramids can be seen upon arrival by sea or air, each about 50 feet high and containing about 10,000 tonnes of 99.6% pure salt. The salt pier juts out into the Caribbean and is where the salt is transferred from the pile to the boats that will transport the salt around the world.

The Willemstoren lighthouse was built in 1838, named after King Willem I of the Netherlands. Willemstoren is 21 metres high and was the first lighthouse on Bonaire.
