This 5-day Galapagos Multisport tour is full of adventurous activities like kayaking, snorkelling, biking, and hiking. You will stay 4 nights on Isabela Island. During these active adventures, you will observe plenty of wildlife like playful sea lions, giant manta rays, colourful tropical fish, Giant tortoises, and even more spectacular Galapagos species. Small-Group: The tour can start every day of the year. You will both go on group day tours and private day tours. For the group day tours, every day you will join different groups, with different guests. Every group tour has a different guide. During the private day tours, one guide will accompany you and your travel party. No other guests will join these tours.

Know before you book

  • Travellers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • It is recommended to book flights with an early arrival time to the Galapagos Islands and a late departure time from the Galapagos Islands to make sure you can enjoy all of the activities of the tour. Late arrivals and/or early departures mean you might miss some activities.
  • If your flight is delayed or cancelled and you cannot make it to Puerto Ayora in time to take the last speedboat to Isabela Island, which departs around 02:00 PM, the team assist you with finding accommodation on Santa Cruz Island but this will be on your own expense. You will miss the planned activities.
  • There are no guides on the transport by public speedboat between islands.
  • Try to only bring small baggage/bags since public transport on the Galapagos Islands is quite small.
  • Tap water on the Galapagos Islands might contain bacteria and should not be consumed, not even for brushing your teeth. Bottled or purified water is always recommended.
  • Inform yourself about food safety when travelling to tropical countries. Take the necessary precaution to avoid food poisoning (always wash your hands before eating, don’t eat ‘street food’, only eat peeled fruits, etc.).
  • It is important to have valid travel and medical insurance. Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.
  • The operator reserves the right to change the itinerary without previous notice due to weather conditions, availabilities, National Park regulations or notifications and unforeseeable circumstances.
  • It is possible that pictures will be taken during your tour, so it is recommended to bring a USB.
  • A current valid passport is required on the day of travel

Day 1: BALTRA – SANTA CRUZ ISLAND – ISABELA ISLAND

Isabela Island

Today is the first day of your Galapagos Multisport tour. It is important to book an early flight arrival to Baltra Airport to make sure you can enjoy all of the activities of the programme as they are described. At Baltra Airport, an English-speaking guide will pick you up to go to Puerto Ayora to enjoy your lunch. After lunch, you will take the speedboat to Isabela Island. This is a 2-hour ride on a speedboat, so please be prepared with a light waterproof jacket and motion sickness medication, if necessary. Upon arrival on Isabela Island, a driver will take you to your hotel. Itinerary for flights arriving to Baltra after 12:00 PM might by slightly different compared to this one. Please communicate to our staff if your flight arrives after noon.
Day 2: SIERRA NEGRA ACTIVE VOLCANO TREK – CONCHA PERLA SNORKEL

In the morning you will begin a journey to the Sierra Negra Volcano, boasting the world's second-largest crater, 13 miles from Puerto Villamil. A 45-minute bus ride precedes a rewarding hike, with a box lunch awaiting at the volcano. Following the trek, enjoy a brief hotel rest before exploring Concha Perla. Enjoy a refreshing snorkel or swim, marvelling at vibrant fish, sea lions, and perhaps even a passing sea turtle.
Day 3: BREEDING CENTER – WALL OF TEARS – ISLET TINTORERAS

Following breakfast, hotel pickup precedes a bike ride to explore the Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre and the historic Wall of Tears, built by prisoners from 1946 to 1959 during Isabela's penal colony era. Return for lunch before an afternoon sail to Tintoreras Islet, named after the white-tip sharks known as Tintoreras. Encounter penguins, sea lions, and marine iguanas, and engage in shark snorkelling amidst a vibrant array of fish.
Day 4: KAYAK IN PUERTO VILLAMIL – ISABELA ISLAND HIGHLANDS

Isabela Island

Today you will head to the bay of Puerto Villamil together with the guide. Here you will go kayaking to visit the coastal zona, and you will have the opportunity to observe and photograph marine iguanas, sea lions and penguins. Then, after a short break, you return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, you will get on your bike again and go to the top of the island to visit Cave Sucre (biking), the Mango viewpoint, and Campo Duro. Here you can see and approach the giant tortoises in their natural habitat.

Galápagos Ecologic Airport

Today, your Galapagos Multisport adventure comes to an end. Early in the morning, you will travel to Santa Cruz Island on the public speedboat leaving Isabela Island at 6:00 in the morning. You will receive a breakfast-to-go before you leave. Upon arrival in Puerto Ayora, your Spanish-speaking driver will provide transport to the Itabacca Channel and assist you back to Baltra Island to the airport.
