Godafoss
  • 1h 10m
We drive for 35 minutes to Godafoss waterfall, where we spend 40 minutes enjoying the magnificent scenery at these beautiful falls.
Dimmuborgir Lava Formations
  • 1h 30m
From Godafoss waterfall, we drive for 40 minutes, to The Lake Myvatn area were we drive next to the beautiful lake on our journey to Dimmuborgir lava fields. At Dimmuborgir we take an easy hike through the lava maze. At Dimmuborgir we do stop for around 50 minutes.
Dettifoss Waterfall

After good stop at Dimmuborgir we now drive for an hour to the mighty Dettifoss waterfall. Believed to be the most powerfull one in Europe, falling into deep canyon shaking the ground all around it. We do stop at the falls for an hour before heading back to Lake Myvatn area.
Namafjall Hverir
  • 1h
We drive from the waterfalls Dettifoss to Hverir (Namafjall) and that drive take around 40 minutes. Hverir are bubbling sulphur mudpits, steamwents and fumerols all in the same area. Amazing plase to witness the geothermal power in Iceland. We stop for 20 minutes to take in the beuty and smell of this unique area.
Akureyri
  • 2h
Its now time to head back to Akureyri, the drive take us through a beautiful landscape. With few stops along the way to take photos of the surrounding areas.
