What you can expect

Your Antelope Canyon Tour starts off with a scenic and narrated ride from the Red Rocks of Sedona, through Oak Creek Canyon (from Sedona - one of the top 10 scenic drives in America) and through the towering Ponderosa Pines of Flagstaff.

After meeting our guests from Flagstaff, your Antelope Canyon Tour will take you past the dormant volcanoes which make up the San Francisco Peaks and through the Navajo Nation. Throughout your travels, you'll receive informative and entertaining narration about the areas through which you pass from some of the most experienced and knowledgeable tour guides from Sedona and Flagstaff areas. Travel through the Navajo Nation as our guide shares with you stories of this ancient culture and information about the amazing geology and vistas along the way.

Once driving across the Navajo Nation, you will have time to walk out on the unpaved path to see Horseshoe Bend, an astounding and iconic viewing vista. After this you will continue to be dazzled by vistas and views as you get to see Glen Canyon Dam and the southernmost point of Lake Powell.

Upon your arrival in Page, Arizona, you will then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Lunch is included in your tour. After which, it will be time to meet your Navajo guide for a spectacular tour of Antelope Canyon at the Canyon X site. As the angle of the sun changes, you opportunity for photos change. Walk with the Navajo through the curves of this red rock slot canyon. Visitors often fill their memory cards and use up all their films. Bring extra! Occasionally sounds of flute music echoes off the walls. Not only is this location visually stimulating, it is a cultural experience as you travel through the Navajo Reservation as our guide shares with you stories of this ancient culture and information about the amazing geology and vistas along the way.

SPECIAL NOTE: There are several slot canyons in Antelope Canyon. We have selected Canyon X due to its beauty and less crowded than its sister slot canyons.

After your tour, you'll begin your return trip from Antelope Canyon. You'll pass by the western edge of the Painted Desert as you re-cross the Navajo Reservation for a brief stop at the historic Cameron Trading Post.

Al was our van guide. He was very knowledgeable about the area. The climb back to the top of the Antelope Canyon is a hike, but the views at the canyon are amazing!!

Al was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and extremely safe driver. Everything was very well planned with the exception of our pick up location. We were directed to meet at the Sedona Pines Resort. This was about 5 miles from our lodging and in the opposite direction of Antelope Canyon. After picking us up (and just us) we backtrcked to pick up the others. One pickup point was just a few blocks from our lodging. I understand that Expedia is responsible for coordinating the pick ups. Otherwise, everything was great and well worth the money. (And that was just a minor inconvenience. )

We would recommend this trip for sure! The driver is very knowledgeable and respectful towards natives. We heard interesting facts while driving through the reservation. A small van so it feels way more personal and fun. Canyon X and Horseshoe Bend were both mind-blowingl beautiful! You get just enough time to check everything out. The drive itself is beautiful too, going through mountains and stopping at a shop full of amazing art, crafts, fabrics, just about anything. Don't hesitate, book this tour

Our driver was super awesome, knowledgeable and funny. When we got to the actual excursion our guide was terrible. She was rude, she did not tell us anything about the canyons, where other guides were funny and were explaining every detail.

This is a must see trip! It is worth the money. The tour guide is full of information on the way up and back. Note when you get to Antelope Canyon you transfer to an 4 wheel drive van with an American Native tour guide. You cannot get into the canton any other way as this is on Navajo property. Our guide Leland took all the pictures for us in the canyon because he knows all the lighting tricks and the best spots. The tour was amazing and the pictures are phenomenal. Thank you Leland and Dom for making a great experience. Note this is an upper Antelope canyon and Horshoe bend tour but we also drove through the painted desert, lake Powell and through Navajo nation. You will not be disappointed
