• The milking of animals gives us the milk with which we make dairy products such as yoghurt, mizithra and cheese. The process is not easy, but it is an experience that brings you close to animals that give you a special feeling…
• Our vegetable garden also needs daily and long hours of care, but we are rewarded with its wonderful organic vegetables. We start planting it at the beginning of April and keep it until October. We start with the summer vegetables and potatoes, and from August we plant the autumn ones..
• The animals are sheared twice a year, the first at the end of April and the second at the end of June. The first shearing is done to clean the animals and put bells on them so that we can find them in the mountains where they graze. And the second is done so they don't get hot in the summer..
• All the time we are busy with nature, our daily occupation, our life is nature, animals, the earth and what they can give us. We love what we do and what we offer to our children.. Fresh and quality products a life in the countryside freely…
Be a Farmer-for-a-Day is a true way of life that you too can live and interact with animals, the earth, nature and what they give us generously….
