Overview

We expect to observe about 30 species of birds.

This tour is designed for birdwatchers, beginners and experts, as well as for nature photographers as the idea is to search and closely observe birds such as: Blue-footed Boobies and Cocos Boobies, but we will also have the opportunity to see other seabirds such as the Red-billed Tropicbird, Brandt's Cormorant and more.

In addition, we may find species such as the American Oystercatcher, Willet, Osprey, Common Black Hawk and Wandering Tattler.

The tour also includes a short stop to search for some of the region’s most iconic endemic landbirds, such as Purplish-backed Jay and Mexican Parrotlet, among others.

After passing through travellers, we will make a short stop a few minutes north of Mazatlan to look for some of the most emblematic land birds in the region, Purplish-backed Jay, Sinaloa Crow and Mexican Parrotlet among others.

Later we will take a boat, which will take us to tour the Marina and bay of Mazatlan, where we can find different seabirds and waterfowl such as: Blue-footed Boobies, Cocos Boobies, Red-billed Tropicbird, Brandt's Cormorant, American Oystercatcher, Willet, Osprey, Common Black Hawk, Wandering Tattler among others.
