Know before you book

  • Children 9 and younger usually sit on a parent's lap.
  • You must weigh less than 286 pounds (100 kg), no exceptions. (HOWEVER all flights are subject to weight and balance).
  • Your flight's duration may vary between 15–20 minutes depending on local air traffic restrictions.
  • Check-in is 30 minutes prior to the time of your flight.
  • You will receive confirmation of your exact flight departure time when you call to confirm your reservation.
  • Scenic flights are only operated on Saturdays and Sundays (subject to availability)
  • 3 passengers per flight – all 3 seats must be paid for to go ahead (less than that will be combined with other passengers). Rescheduling will occur if flight is not full.
  • V2 Helicopters have the right to vary or cancel flights depending on operational considerations, air traffic control, weather conditions or pilot’s discretion.
  • As the scenic flights are a shared flight, last minute cancelations are not accepted.

What you can expect

See the towers, greenways, and landmarks of Brisbane with a helicopter flight over the city's central business district. This scenic ride lets you get some terrific photos of the city's city centre and admire the skyline from a unique perspective.

After you take off from Archerfield Airport, your flight takes you past St. Lucia and the University of Queensland, and then follows the Brisbane River to the iconic Suncorp Stadium before taking you to the spectacular skyscrapers of the CBD. Along the way, listen as your pilot gives you a local's perspective on the scenery laid out below you.

Every seat on the helicopter is a window seat, so you get a fantastic bird's-eye view of sights like the Story Bridge and the circular Brisbane Cricket Ground, known to locals as The Gabba. On your return route, follow the Brisbane River and pass over South Bank before you head back out towards Archerfield.
