Personally prepurchasing the entrance tickets on Viator site, in case you want to visit them inside, for the Colosseum, for a 09.45 / 10 am entrance and the Vatican Museum tickets for 02.00 pm , you will be able to enter them avoiding line (Just lining for security controls), visiting in addition all the other highlights.
We suggest not to visit the Colosseum inside having more time for other sights!
