Ravensburg is one of the beautiful, particularly well-preserved historical cities in southern Germany. As an imperial city and seat of the Ravensburger trading company, Ravensburg rose to become the centre of the Lake Constance region in the late Middle Ages. Striking buildings, squares and streets characterise the historic old town, which is still largely preserved today.
The classic “Ravensburg City History” gives you an overview of the origins of the city, its most important eras, sights up to today's Ravensburg. Stops include Marienplatz, Bachstrasse, the town hall, the Kornhaus, the Evangelical City Church and the upper town with the museum district.
