OMG where do I start? Our guide, Jorge was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Sintra. He was very kind and assisted my sister who walks with a cane. He knew our names and became a friend immediately. He also took the time to talk about other must-sees in Sintra and logistics to doing them. Highly recommend!

Great communication before, during, and after the tour. Leo met us promptly and was a joy to spend the day with. Perfectly planned activities, bypassing lines, showing us less-seen spots, and just a great guy. He made recommendations for lunch and found a place that served what we were looking for. We started at 11 and ended around 5 and he went the speed the group could handle. The ladies I was traveling with LOVED the tour and said it was one of the best they've had.

Paula brings a very sincere passion to her tour, not only explaining the history of the region but also her personal experiences growing up in the area and changes she has witnessed. She brings hey enthusiasm not only to architecture and history of conquest and royalty but also to the absolutely breathtaking natural beauty of Sintra. As a long standing professional in the area she is clearly well connected and we were quickly whisked past lines with a cheerful word with local staff. We highly recommend Paula for a unique and personal experience.

Patricia is a fanatic tour guide! The private tour began with the Moorish castle in the morning. It’s an amazing experience to be there before it got crowded. We then took a quick drive to the Pena Palace. Very busy but Patricia led us to check in where we were able to pass majority of the crowds. This palace is beautiful but be prepared for large crowds everywhere. Afterwards stopped by a lovely local restaurant for lunch & finished off with a pasties de nata. It was a perfect day & Patricia made sure we were very comfortable. Highly recommend this tour!!

We were so pleasantly surprised and thrilled with this tour! We didn't realize that our tour truly would be private! Paula was amazing. We were 10 minutes late to the meeting point because we had to come from the Lisbon cruise port and had trouble getting an Uber. Paula had contacted us the day before through Whats App so we had her information and let her know that we would be running late. She waited for us and was our very own personal tour guide for the day. Being a native of Sintra, she knew everyone and the history of Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. We hiked the entire Moorish Castle with her and then we went to Pena Palace where we toured the outside until it was time to tour the inside museum. She even bought us one of the local Portugese delicacies. Paula is truly a character with a wonderful personality and she made this experience so special. We also had our very own personal photographer and she got some great shots of us. We had to take one with her too! We would highly recommend this tour and, especially Paula, to anyone! Thanks so much!
