Day 1: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m), trek to Phakding (2,610m) – 3-4 hours

Your adventure begins with an early morning scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860m), a thrilling 30-minute journey over the Himalayas. Upon landing at Lukla Airport, you will meet your trekking crew and begin your gradual descent through lush green forests and traditional Sherpa villages. After about 3-4 hours of trekking, you arrive in Phakding (2,610m), a small but charming village where you will spend the night in a teahouse near the riverside.
Day 2: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) – 6 hours

Today’s trek follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Bridge. You pass through Monjo, the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park, where your permits are checked. The trail gradually ascends through dense pine forests with occasional glimpses of Everest, Lhotse, and Thamserku. The final steep climb to Namche Bazaar is challenging but rewarding, as you reach the vibrant Sherpa town, the main trading hub of the Khumbu region. Here, you can explore local markets, bakeries, and enjoy breathtaking mountain views.
Day 3: Acclimatisation day in Namche (hike to Everest View Hotel/Khumjung)

Today is a rest and acclimatisation day to adjust to the altitude. You can take a short hike to Everest View Hotel (3,880m) for stunning views of Everest and Ama Dablam or visit Khumjung Village to see the Hillary School. You can also explore Namche’s markets, cafes, and museums before relaxing for the day.
Day 4: Trek to Tengboche (3,860m) – 5 hours

You start the day with an easy walk on a wide path, enjoying beautiful views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other mountains. The trail goes up and down through forests and small villages. After crossing a river on a suspension bridge, the last part of the trek is a steep uphill climb to Tengboche. The views from Tengboche are breathtaking, and you will spend the night in a teahouse nearby.
Day 5: Trek to Dingboche (4,410m) – 6 hours

You begin the day walking downhill through a beautiful rhododendron forest until you reach Debuche, a small village. From here, you cross a suspension bridge over the Imja River and continue towards Pangboche, the highest permanent Sherpa village in the region. The trail then becomes more open and dry, offering stunning views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Island Peak. As you walk further, the trees disappear, and you enter an alpine landscape with stone-walled fields. After a gradual uphill climb, you arrive at Dingboche, a beautiful valley surrounded by snow-capped peaks, where you will spend the night.
Day 6: Acclimatisation day in Dingboche (hike to Nangkartshang Peak)

Today is a rest day to help your body adjust to the high altitude. You can take a short hike to Nangkartshang Hill (5,083m) for amazing views of Makalu, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Island Peak. The hike is steep but rewarding. After returning to Dingboche, you can relax, explore the village, and enjoy the mountain views.
Day 7: Trek to Lobuche (4,910m) – 6 hours

The trail slowly ascends through a rocky valley, with stunning views of Lhotse, Pumori, and Nuptse. You pass Thukla (4,620m), where you take a short break before a steep climb to the Thukla Pass, a place with memorials for climbers who lost their lives on Everest. From here, the path becomes easier, leading to Lobuche, a small settlement surrounded by towering peaks. The air is thinner, so it's important to walk slowly and stay hydrated.
Day 8: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m), return to Gorak Shep (5,164m) – 7-8 hours

The trek starts with a gradual ascent over rocky terrain, following the Khumbu Glacier to Gorak Shep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp. After a short rest, you continue towards Everest Base Camp (EBC), walking on rugged and icy trails with breathtaking views of Khumbu Icefall, Nuptse, and Pumori. At EBC, you can take photos and enjoy the incredible surroundings before returning to Gorak Shep for the night.
Day 9: Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) for sunrise, trek down to Pheriche (4,210m) – 7 hours

Today, you wake up early to hike to Kala Patthar, a famous viewpoint offering unforgettable sunrise views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and other peaks. After enjoying the spectacular scenery, you descend back to Gorak Shep for a quick breakfast, then continue trekking downhill towards Pheriche, a small village with excellent views of the surrounding mountains. The trek is mostly downhill, giving you a chance to rest and recover after the long days at higher altitude.
Day 10: Trek to Namche Bazaar – 6 hours

Today, you continue descending through alpine meadows and forests, passing through Pangboche and Tengboche. You can visit Tengboche Monastery again before continuing the trek down to the Dudh Koshi River. After crossing the suspension bridges, you reach Namche Bazaar, where you can relax, enjoy a warm meal, and explore the lively town.
Day 11: Trek to Lukla – 6-7 hours

The trek starts with a steep downhill walk, crossing suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River. You pass through forests, Sherpa villages, and prayer wheels, retracing your steps through Phakding before reaching Lukla.
