A wonderful experience! Kana-San was an amazing instructor and so friendly! Learning calligraphy for the first time and having a stamp made was so fun, I highly recommend!

This was a cute experience if you’re in that part of town and have a little extra time, I would recommend it. I was able to pick out the design of the stamp and was given a detailed explanation of what the characters of my name meant. While the stamp was being made, I got to practice writing my name, as well as some other characters. It was fun to try.

This was such an amazing experience. I learned what my name meant, how to write it in kanji, and I was even able to try writing it. The best part is I'm leaving Japan with a stamp memorializing my whole experience.

Kana was a friendly and skilled teacher and went above and beyond in teaching me kanji characters, trying different brushes and different papers. I found the presentation of the meaning of shodo (calligraphy) interesting, and the program came with a beverage of choice, the matcha latte was cool and delicious.
