On 25 March at 1pm, our young male Rickshaw driver picked us up from our hotel on time and took us on a 1.5 hour tour up and down the cobbled streets giving us a wonderful history guide to Florence. An absolute must to start off your trip. I read past reviews and booked. They were spot on. The guy was an asset to your company. Our driver had tight curly hair and earrings - fabulous. His name may have been Ivan but not entirely sure. He texted me his name before arrival but I deleted the email in error. He had grown up in Florence and studied at the university. He wore sunglasses. Superb!!

This tour was jam-packed with information. Stefano was very enthusiastic and engaging. The rickshaw allowed us to cover a lot of territory at a faster pace than we could have if we had been walking!

Stefano had excellent communication before the tour on pick up place, which he gladly accommodated and the pick up time. The tour was right around 1.5 hours. It was a fantastic ride around all the highlights of Florence! It really gave us a ‘lay of the land’ on our first day. Stefano is extremely knowledgeable on many of the buildings and the history of the city, since he is from here. His energy is amazing, engaging and entertaining! He gladly answers all your questions during the tour (and even offered to be available after!). Book Stefano your first day in Florence!

I had the most incredible time exploring Florence on the rickshaw tour! Our guide, ivan, was an absolute gem. The rickshaw was comfortable and allowed us to see all the major landmarks, like the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio, plus some hidden gems we’d never have found on our own. His knowledge of Italian and Roman history was impressive, and he shared fascinating stories that brought Florence to life. It was the perfect way to cover a lot in a short time, especially for someone like me who didn’t want to walk too much. 100% worth it—easily the highlight of my trip! I’d recommend this to anyone visiting Florence! This review draws inspiration from consistent praise found online for rickshaw tours in Florence, particularly those highlighting knowledgeable guides like Stefano and the unique, convenient experience of seeing the city this way. Let me know if you’d like it adjusted!

We took the Florence City Guided Tour by Rickshaw yesterday, and it was fantastic! Our guide took us all around Florence, hitting the major highlights but also uncovering hidden gems we would never have found on our own. Even though we had already spent a few days exploring the city, this tour provided new insights, fascinating information, and plenty of charming spots that enriched our understanding of Florence. It's an ideal experience either when you first arrive to get your bearings or after a few days, as we did, to explore deeper into the city's culture and history. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic, enjoyable, and personalized introduction to Florence from a local perspective!
