Day 1
Start your journey early in the morning with a hotel pickup in Delhi. Sit back and relax for the 12-14 hour drive to Ayodhya.
Arrive in Ayodhya by early afternoon. Check into your hotel and freshen up before having lunch at a local restaurant.
In the evening, visit the Hanuman Garhi Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Enjoy the panoramic views of the city from this hilltop temple.
Next, explore the Kanak Bhawan, a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Rama and Goddess Sita. Explore the temple's grounds, admiring its intricate architecture and vibrant murals.
Afterwards, take a leisurely stroll along the Sarayu River ghats and witness the evening prayer ceremony. Stop for dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel to rest.
Day 2
Start the next day with a visit to the Ram Janmabhoomi, the birthplace of Lord Rama, which holds immense religious significance for Hindus. Explore the site and witness the ongoing construction of the Ram Mandir.
Then, visit the nearby Sita Ki Rasoi, believed to be the kitchen where Goddess Sita cooked meals during her exile. It's a small temple with historical relevance.
Take a break for lunch at a local eatery, sampling traditional Awadhi cuisine. After lunch, visit the Nageshwarnath Temple, which is believed to have been established by Kush, Lord Rama's son.
Next, explore the Treta Ke Thakur Temple. Dedicated to Lord Rama, this is one of the oldest temples in Ayodhya.
If time permits, you can visit other significant sites like the Dashrath Mahal, where Lord Rama spent his childhood, or the Guptar Ghat, where Lord Rama is said to have disappeared into the Sarayu River. Then, begin your journey back to Delhi.
