What you can expect

Experience the beauty of Lobos Island on a once-in-a-lifetime catamaran cruise from Corralejo. Sail with a drink in hand across glittering waters and take part in water activities, including snorkelling, kayaking, and paddleboarding at La Concha Beach.

Set sail from Corralejo, gliding over the crystal-clear waters to Lobos Island and crossing the 2-kilometer islet of El Río on the way. As you draw closer to the western part of Lobos Island, marvel at La Caldera, a half-submerged volcanic mountain and black-sand beach.

Drop anchor at La Concha Beach with its turquoise waters and pristine shores. Feel the warm sunshine as you indulge in tasty starters along with a selection of refreshing alcoholic and soft drinks.

We had a great time on this activity. All staff were very friendly and professional. Pick up was on time. Unfortunately, we went on a very windy day so if you do too, wrap up warm and be prepared to get sprayed by a lot of water if you sit at the front of the catamaran! We found it much gentler at the back of the boat. The lunch and drinks were great - you can order vegetarian/ chicken paella in advance if you don’t eat seafood. I love the fact that the staff take photos throughout the activity as this has given us lovely memories to look back on! Would recommend this as I feel it’s good value for money, it gets you out and about a bit and isn’t something you get to do everyday!

GetYourGide didnt offer all options of transfer and didnt mention that you can pre-order paella with chicken instead of seafood… that was not good but it isn’t any fault of fuerta company of course…

Our experience did not match up with the, we Loved the island and the 30 minutes we had to look/swim around, but everything else was rushed, had 10 minutes snorkelling (saw a couple of fish), then literally 5 minutes to have a go on a kayak or SUP board while attached to a rope the back of the catamaran???. I asked could we detach and all he said was you can but lunch will be served in 5 minutes, thought Ok, we can have lunch and just get back on the kayak/boards. Had lunch which was OK but not exactly filling (take snacks) and while we ate they brought all the Kayaks and Paddle boards back on the boat. Then we set off back for Corralejo. We had 3 guys take us round, one atleast tried to engage with us and smiled, very little information about the island. Personally just get a water taxi to the island instead, which we did later in the week and enjoyed far more. Atleast the Catamaran was nice and clean, with good toilets.
