It also includes many traditional local crafts such as making daggers, pottery, silver, copper, spinning, selling livestock, fish, vegetables, and handicrafts.

Al-Shahba is what is called the most famous landmark in Nizwa; it’s Nizwa Fort, a combination of a castle, a fort, and a museum distinguished by its unique architecture. It’s also considered one of the oldest forts in Oman, as it was built in the seventeenth century.

Simulate living in the 1500-year-old Al-Aqar area through the "Nizwa Tourist Cars," which are open-top electric cars, and through electric scooters that enable you to drive in the narrow alleys inside Al-Aqer, which is surrounded by a two-kilometer wall and contains four gates called "Sabahat." At the end of the tour, enjoy an authentic Omani lunch in the comfort of a local restaurant. Then drive back to Muscat.
