Know before you book

  • The tour departs at 8:45 am – meet strictly at 8:20 am.
  • Usually group size is maximum 20 people, although we reserve the right to extend the limit to 22. Transport will be shared with other groups.
  • We are working hard in our team, and with all our partners, to be up to the current circumstances. All our services will abide by all health and security policies issued by the competent administrations. Our top priority is and will be ensuring a safe environment for all our customers and our team.
  • If you have reduced mobility, contact us before booking. We’ll do our best to welcome you on board!
  • Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended as there is some walking involved.
  • Temperatures in Montserrat and the winery tend to be more extreme than in Barcelona. Please check the weather forecast the day before and dress accordingly.
  • Infants aged 3 or less may join the tour free of charge, but note that no car seat or meals are provided.
  • We cater for any dietary allergies or restrictions.
  • We work daily with different low-production, family-owned boutique wineries. Due to logistic reasons, you might visit another cellar instead of Oller del Mas.

Welcome to this tailor made experience!

The tour begins in Castlexperience Office (Top Floor - Section B - Ticket office A, B or C) Estación de autobuses Barcelona Nord (North Bus Station) Carrer d'Alí Bei, 80 (5 min from Arc de Triomf). Upon arrival, you will be assigned to your local English-speaking guide and meet the rest of the group – maximum 20 people!

Choose exactly what to do:

  • Montserrat + Lunch +Wine: It includes two hours of free time in Montserrat after your guided tour, a traditional catalan lunch at a 10th century winery and a guided visit of the cellar followed by a wine tasting, what a day!

  • Montserrat + Tapas + Wine: It includes one hour of free time in Montserrat after your guided tour, a tapas brunch at a 10th century castle and a wine tasting, and you are back in Barcelona to enjoy your afternoon!

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Fran, spoke English very well. She was knowledgeable about Monsterrat as well as the church. We were given about 2 hours of free time, which was definitely enough. It is a gorgeous area. Our only disappointment is that once we got there we were told that the black Madonna and the choir were sold out. We feel we should be given the option to purchase these ticket in advance. Afterwards we went to a winery and ate lunch at the restaurant.. The meal consisted of gazpacho, roasted chicken over mashed potatoes and a slice of a cream cake for dessert. Then we went into the winery for the wine tasting. Fran is also a wine expert, was extremely knowledgeable about the wines we were tasting and wine making in general. We got to taste 3 wines. We were then given free time to enjoy a glass of wine on our own or walk around the winery. It was a very enjoyable day. I would recommend this trip to anyone who is visiting the Barcelona area.

We had a great day in Montserrat. Our guide Yerai was very knowledgeable and friendly 5/5! We had plenty of free time with different option of how to spend it. The winery was beautiful and they were very generous with the tastings. I highly recommend this tour!

One of the most beautiful places I’ve seen! And the tour was amazing. Our guide Nerea was so pleasant and knowledgeable. After visiting Monserrat we had a wonderful lunch followed by a quick winery tour and ended with a great wine tasting. The transportation from Barcelona to there and back was perfect (big, well maintained bus). I recommend this company and this tour a 100%

We greatly enjoyed our full day tour. The beauty of both Montserrat and the Oller del Mas winery have to be seen to fully appreciate them. Our tour was greatly enhanced by our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide Nuria. She shared so much information about the region to us. I would highly recommend this tour!
