Torres del Paine National Park
We will leave from Puerto Natales towards the north, after half an hour of travel we will arrive at our first stop: the Milodon Cave Natural Monument. We will visit the main cave of this set of three caves, where the remains of this prehistoric animal were found more than 100 years ago.
We will continue towards Torres del Paine National Park, enjoying the view of Laguna Sofía, Porteño Lake, Prat Mountain Range, Mesa Mesa, Sierra del Toro and Sierra Ballena. After 2 hours of travel, we will arrive at the Lago del Toro viewpoint, located on the south east coast. From there, we will have a spectacular view of the lake and the Paine Range (also known as the Paine massif). Then, we will make a small walk along the shore of Lake Grey, from where we will have another perspective of the Paine massif and the Paine horns, if the cloud conditions allow it.
Then we will have free time to have lunch in a cafeteria inside the park, and then go to the Salto Grande sector, where we will visit one of the Pehoé Lake viewpoints, where the Paine River glaciers discharge their flowing waters. Once the tour is finished, we will visit Laguna Amarga and the Sarmiento Lake viewpoint, then start our return to Puerto Natales.
