The park takes its name from the impressive rock formations that resemble giant organs, which can be observed in certain areas. Our first stop is visiting the waterfalls in the lower sector of the Serra dos Órgãos National Park for a nice bath! The Poço Verde(Green pool) with green water is a captivating natural feature that combines the beauty of cascading water with the striking hue of green. This type of pool is typically formed at the base of a waterfall, where the water collects and creates a serene and picturesque environment. The green colour of the water in such a pool is often a result of natural processes or environmental factors. From the top of Trilha Cartão Postal (the Postcard Trail) you can admire the majestic Dedo de Deus (Finger of God) peak, a famous rock formation that resembles a hand pointing towards the sky. This iconic landmark is one of the main attractions of the Serra dos Órgãos National Park and serves as a symbol of Teresópolis.
