Overview

We make locals feel like tourists and tourists feel like locals.

We are a local tour company specialising in sharing the rich social history of some of the city's most iconic spots.

We use fully refurbished ex Royal Post bikes, and all are named after (often not so) famous Glaswegian women and aim to make all our guests appreciate the city as much as we do.

Our routes are safe and take in beautiful parks, rivers and utilise Glasgow's expanding cycle network. If you need an electric bike, please ask us about this as it can often be arranged.

Our tours cover the past and contemporary Glasgow, across themes such as history, architecture, culture, and immigration.

Activity itinerary

Finnieston Crane (Pass by)
We stop and get a close up view of the crane and the various other cultural buildings around, we would only view this from the outside
The Riverside Museum of Transport and Travel (Pass by)
As we view this from the outside, we will learn about some interesting artefacts and the historic suburb of Govan
The Clyde and the Kelvin (Pass by)
We cycle along the cycle paths of both of Glasgow's rivers and if the mood takes us, we stop off at a couple of points along the way
Kelvin Hall (Pass by)
Take in the new cycle path past the historic Kelvin Hall
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum (Pass by)
Our guests get a close up view of one of the real jewels in the crown of Glasgow and one of the finest free museums in the world. We share some of the most interesting facts behind the building, this is an external visit only
Kelvingrove Bandstand and Ampitheatre (Pass by)
We use this as an optional toilet stop (note - we can't guarantee it is always open!) and of course it's a great spot for taking pictures and going down memory lane for some of the amazing artists who have performed here. This is an external visit only
University of Glasgow (Pass by)
We get up close to one of the finest viewpoints across the city and take guests right inside the famous cloisters underneath the spires. We discuss some of the most famous alumni and also some of the things that make the university unique. This stop has a bit of an incline to get there but it is entirely worth it! This is an external visit only
Glasgow Botanic Gardens (Pass by)
Dependant on timings, we may have the opportunity to cycle around the beautiful and lush Botanical Gardens and if the mood takes us maybe parking the bikes and popping into Kibble Palace. This is an external visit only PS - there's also an optional tpoilet stop that we may look to use if we need to :)
Kelvingrove Park (Pass by)
We cycle through Glasgow's most scenic park and park our bikes at what we like to decribe as Glasgow's intecultural centre. This is an external visit only
Glasgow West End (Pass by)
We cycle through the vibrant west end through and depending on time may have an option to go through the cobbles of Ashton Lane.
