We ensure a timely departure for all our guests. Please arrive to our office in Funchal Marina 30 minutes before departure were we will exchange your ticket for a boarding card. Please note that if you miss the boat, you will not be eligible for a refund.

it was very nice to see the coastline of Madeira from the ocean, and even tho we only saw 4 dolphins it was still an amazing experience I can recommend to everyone who has the time :]

Unfortunately, we didn't see any animals. I fully understand that nature is unpredictable, and there’s no guarantee of seeing dolphins or whales on a tour like this. However, what made this trip truly disappointing was the complete lack of effort and engagement from the crew. For three hours, we sailed aimlessly with no communication from the staff. No explanations, no updates, not even a single comment about what they were looking for or what conditions were like. In fact, it didn’t even seem like they were actively searching for any wildlife at all! The crew mostly kept to themselves, and the passengers were left sitting in silence, wondering what was going on. I’ve been on other wildlife tours where, even if no animals show up, the guides at least try to make it an interesting experience by sharing information about the area, the species we might see, or even just engaging with the guests.Here, there was nothing. If you're looking for an enjoyable experience, choose another company.

We paid €35 and not one single dolphin or whale was spotted within 3 hours. For this price, considering not even one beverage was provided with the cost, I would say it was a complete rip off. There is also a minimum card spend of €10 at the bar for drinks and snacks. I can’t believe this experience had such great reviews because I was extremely disappointed.

it was smooth (mostly) and we saw some dolphins which made it worth it. You get the best view at the front on the plastic weave netting thing but tuy don't hear and commentary on what you see from there. Minor improvement is that the safety instructions couldn't be heard unless you're in the middle of the boat.

I went on three trips with Sea Born (two AM and one PM trip) and they were all incredible!! We saw pilot whales on all trips, as well as common dolphin and bottlenose dolphin on the others. The team onboard are fantastic and super knowledgeable, with handy ID charts and information for those who’re interested in learning more about the animals. But if you prefer just relaxing in the sun at sea, it’s also great for that too. The team even cleaned debris and rubbish we came across in the ocean which was amazing to see. Their dedication to protecting the animals, following legislation and providing an amazing experience was top notch. Will be using them again in the future, couldn’t recommend enough!!
