Know before you book

The product is a pre-booking. After your reservation is confirmed, a confirmation email will be sent from experiences-travel-guest-jp@faq.rakuten.co.jp. This email will include the actual tickets, so please make sure to check it. On the day of travel, please bring that ticket.

From the observation deck on Nishihotakaguchi Station, a magnificent 360 degree panorama unfolds before your eyes (Note: the double-decker gondola runs only on the second ropeway).

Description
The Shinhotaka Ropeway runs along the Sengoku Ridge in Japan's Northern Alps. It consists of a 1st ropeway and 2nd ropeway, and you can transfer between them to reach Nishi-Hotakaguchi Station and its incredible observation deck.

From Shinhotaka Onsen Station, take the 1st ropeway to Nabedaira Kogen Station, then transfer to Shirakabadaira Station to take the 2nd ropeway.
