Overview

Cook Island, a short boat trip from the Gold Coast, is an accessible and appealing dive site for all experience levels. A colourful and interesting mix of reef and pelagic fish call Cook Island home: pufferfish, gropers, surgeonfish, anemonefish, leatherjackets, parrotfish, trevally, bullseyes and sweetlips are some of the most common residents. Photographers will find plenty of photogenic subjects, with nudibranchs, stingrays, turtles, wobbegongs and even leopard sharks over summer.

Know before you book

  • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
  • Not recommended for travellers with poor cardiovascular health
  • Not recommended for pregnant travellers
  • Public transport options are available nearby
  • Travellers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Customer must provide a contact number at time of booking
  • All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (i.e. asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor prior to booking if you have any severe medical conditions.
  • Our Try-Scuba trip requires no licence or prior experience
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
  • Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended.

Our expert instructors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring a safe and exciting journey beneath the waves. Please Note: you do not need the Open Water Certificate. Take your first breath underwater and experience weightlessness like never before!
